ACORN Research, LLC is a multifaceted research organization that combines a network of committed oncology research sites supported by centralized research processes, a bioinformatics platform that joins EMR data with ePRO data to support health outcomes research and clinical trial efficiencies, and a Contract Research Organization focused exclusively on oncology. We offer high-​quality biospecimens and biofluids using unmatched sophistication in donor services.

Our infrastructure includes medical oncologists, doctoral level scientists, statisticians, and other professional staff with many years of oncology specific research experience. The ACORN team knows oncology well from the perspectives of both the oncology practice and the research sponsors.

History

Established in 2002.

ACORN Research, LLC began in 2002 in the community oncology setting of the West Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. ACORN is an acronym for Accelerated Community Oncology Research Network. ACORN was formed to address the inefficiencies of clinical research. ACORN consists of a group of professional experts in clinical research, oncology, data management, regulatory, information technology, analytical/​statistical methods, accounting/​financial management, operations design, marketing, and business development.
