Derek Byrd is the Marketing Manager for Evans Distribution Systems. His responsibilities include creating and executing internal and external marketing strategies across all mediums, and providing brand management and recognition within the sales departments.

Evans Distribution Systems, founded in 1929, is a top 100 third party logistics company providing warehousing, trucking, staffing services, Foreign Trade Zone, and value added services. Servicing clients such as Ford, Chrysler, Walmart, and Crown Royal, with more than 700 associates, six warehouses in Michigan, and others in Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Texas.

Mr. Byrd has also held positions as the President and Marketing Manager for Sky Productions Inc. — leading the audio technology company to receive multiple awards, including Best Independent Recording Studio in Michigan by the GRAMMY Foundation.
