We can’t say enough positive things about Rob and his team. We had a very large tree fall into our backyard. Rob came out within an hour of our call for an estimate and returned with his team the same day, while it was still stormy outside. The clean up was thorough and the customer service was top notch. He even added some wire to our damaged at no extra cost! We will be using Highlander Tree for all of our future tree services.

I tried the rest but Rob is the best. We had a tree removed and others trimmed and his work is impeccable! He is a horticulturist and shared his knowledge and expertise with my husband. We were very impressed and will definitely call him with more projects. We just built an addition and our yard is a mess, so again, we will call the best!

I got a few quotes to remove 2 large trees, 1 medium tree and 4 smaller trees on my property. Rob’s rates were the most competitive and he provided more in depth information and even told me one of the limbs I wanted to remove really wasn’t necessary to take down but of course he would if I wanted to. After selecting him, he was able to squeeze me in earlier than he thought and the job was completed very well. Accessing my property was very tricky given the close quarters between neighbors. His vehicle damaged a neighbor’s sprinkler spigot and he repaired it the next day. Rob is a stand up guy, does things right. Although his prices are under the other guys with bigger companies, you are not cutting corners on service or quality. He is insured and takes care to ensure you are happy. I have already recommended him to one friend and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

I had Rob and his crew do some trimming work on two trees on my property.
I had three companies stop by beforehand to give me an estimate on the work. Not only was Rob the only one to identify the trees properly, he also took the time to educate me on both of them. He went into detail regarding; height expected, growth behavior, natural shape. More so he was the most competitively priced service provider, and that by quite a margin.
I am very happy with the work that was provided and highly recommend Rob and his crew.

This guy stood us up for two appointments for a tree removal estimate. I can understand mission one appointment, mistakes happen. However, when I called him, we rescheduled for the next day and he said he wouldn’t miss the appointment. Guess what, he was a no show. My time is worth something, I don’t appreciate it being wasted like that. They need to invest in a smartphone with a scheduling application so this kind of thing doesn’t happen. We ended up going Barret Tree Service East, they showed up on time and were completely professional.

Just wanted to update my review… had Rob and 2 of his crew here for some big-​but-​delicate trimming jobs today. They did an EXCELLENT job, cleaned up thoroughly, and were very considerate about our home and grounds. I should add I think they are very competitively priced for their work and their skills. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I recently used Highlander by 2 recommendations from a pair of friends. Rob came out quickly to give an estimate for the work to be done, which was extremely reasonable. I didn’t even feel the need to ‘shop around’ after he came out. We had one cancellation due to weather, but communication was great and we quickly rescheduled. Rob and his crew came out and removed a Birch in the front yard that had died and was deteriorating, as well as, trimmed a large Oak in the side yard and removed most of the trunk of a Pine that had sheared off in a winter storm a few years back. All was done in a very professional manner with no further disruption to my property or my neighbors. With the upcoming thaw, I’ll have them out again to grind down a few stumps that remain.
All in all a great company that does fantastic work! Highly recommended!

I have used Highlander Tree and have recommended them to friends. They recently took down a large tree as well as trimming back a bunch of smaller tress in my yard that «crowded» my property. When they were done my yard was cleaner than when they got there! Their prices are very competitive AND this company is insured! Hard to find these days unless you call the bigger companies that charge a lot more money! Rob and his staff are very professional and do exactly what is asked, for the price they quote. I will continue to recommend them to friends.

I would highly recommend Rob and Highlander Tree. Rob and his crew deftly maneuvered around power lines to remove a large pine and other limbs and trees from our front & side yards. We received a detailed written estimate, the yard was cleaned up and Rob took all the extra steps to ensure we had a completely positive customer experience!
