Atlantic Masonry & Tile

We are very happy we went with Atlantic for our new walkway and patio. Zine and Renee are very easy to work with and truly cared about making us happy. Zine worked along side his crew every step of the way and Renee is great at communicating. They are a great team! Their estimate was clear and competitive and their work is excellent. Their crew was punctual, neat and polite. After the work was done we saw some staining on our patio pavers (caused by Oak tree pollen) and let them know. Zine came right out, saw the problem was with the pavers and contacted the manufacturer (who also immediately came out). Were very happy with our decision to go with Atlantic and will use them again without hesitation for any Masonry and Tile work.

These guys did an amazing job refinishing my flower bed, steps, patio and foundation. It was all old, cracking, and terrible looking, but they made everything brand new. Zine and Renee were great to work with — excellent communicators and friendly. Thanks Renee and Zine!

This is a long overdue review. Zine and Renee are amazing to work with, and their crew is fantastic. They did a retaining wall for us and repointed the foundation, both inside and outside our house, and finished the inside of the foundation with a cement-​based paint. The entire experience was pleasant, which I have never, ever said about working with contractors. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Requested a quote about a month ago, Renee said they would be up the next week to take a look. It’s been a month; I sent a follow-​up email to see when this would be done this past week, didn’t hear anything back. Was putting off contacting others due to a great set of reviews here… moving on.

It was a total pleasure working with this company. They were extremely professional from the very beginning until the end of the project. Not only were they punctual and responsive, but they did an AMAZING job replacing our front steps. I wasn’t completely satisfied with a few stones after the work was done. They understood my concern and replaced the stones a few days later at no extra charge. That’s what I call 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone.

Zine and Renee were great! I emailed about a relatively small job; repairing my brick front steps after a rough winter had done some damage. Renee responded on the weekend within hours of my inquiry, Zine came out for and estimate, and the job was done beautifully within a week. In a line of business where customer service is spotty and small jobs are almost impossible to get a response on, Renee and Zine stand out as the very best I’ve ever dealt with!

Our brick front steps were in need of repair after the epic winter we endured, and decided to go with Atlantic Masonry after getting several estimates. Zine and Renee were great to work with and were both friendly and professional. The work was done promptly, very well, and with limited interruption to our family. Zine and his team were able to salvage most of our existing bricks, keeping our costs down. Best of all, we have a functioning entryway into our home roughly a week after calling for an estimate.

We hired Atlantic Masonry to redo our front steps. Renee, Zine and his crews are a great team — Renee is an excellent project manager and a great communicator. She always promptly answered all my e-​mails addressing every question I had. Zine, her husband, is a master mason and he justifiably takes a great pride in the quality of work he and his team does. We were very happy with them throughout the whole process. I have one episode to prove the professionalism Zine showed. When they laid the granite tiles for the landing area (right outside of our front door), we found out that the tiles were not cut completely symmetric. It was not a big deal but it bothered us a bit so I pointed that out to Renee. She immediately got back to me saying that actually Zine was at a hospital that day and, when his crews sent him the photo, he noticed it right away and really unhappy with that finish. He was already planning to come out next day to redo the whole landing even before we sent the e-​mail! He took out the tiles next day and did a such perfect job! We will definitely go back to them with any masonry jobs in the future (driveway, walkway, retaining walls, etc.) and we can recommend them with 110% confidence! I just wish they do all other contract work in addition to masonry jobs so that I never have to deal with any other contractors.

Zine and Renee were awesome to work with. Came and gave me a quote, then arranged to be here to do the work and actually turned up and did it on the day they said they would (I know such a rare thing in these parts).
Happily accommodated minor changes at my request and the price was really good.
They sparged the foundations, repaired a step, re-​pointed another stairway and chimney and added a chimney cap.
Very happy I chose to use them and am recommending them to my friends.

They came out quickly to evaluate the job and give an estimate, then scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The work was excellent, and the price was reasonable. After meeting with a few, we made the easy decision to hire Zine (principal of the firm) to repair the stone/​concrete walkway in front of our house. He and Renee (office manager & wife) were easy to work with and prompt with responses to our inquiries. The work was done within a week of our initial meeting and repaired to look like new.
Zine is a craftsman. He spends the required time and goes to great length to lay each stone in the precise spot. His attention to detail and work ethic are clear when you see the end result. On top of being highly skilled as a mason, he is courteous, friendly and arrived on time. When rain delayed him a half day, he was clear in communicating the new timeline to us and followed through as he had indicated.

We highly recommend Atlantic Masonry & Tile for all your stonework or tile needs. We had Zine build a retaining walls for us and loved his work so much that we also hired him to do a concrete walkway with the stairs on the back of the house. Zine is more than a stonemason, he is an artist and works carefully to place each stone where it fits best. He does not hurry and clearly takes pride in his stonework, which reflects meticulous attention to detail.
