History

Established in 2006.

Lori Kunian CFD bought Affairs to Remember in Feb 2006 and operated at 202A green St in Melrose for 7 ½ years. In Dec 2012, she bought Melrose Blossoms and changed the name to Affairs to Remember at it’s current location at 547 Main St in Melrose. In Feb 2013, she bought Coate’s florist’s phone number and account list and added that to Affairs to Remember’s database. Now we service the client of 3 florist shops out of one location for easy, fast, professional service for all your floral needs.

Having started my floral career at 14, you can say I have some passion for my business. I always had a strong background in art and when I started in my Aunts flower shop, I just fell in love…

Over the last 25 years, I have attended college majoring in Floristry. I have won awards fro floral design and expanded my knowledge to become the best florist possible.

I love providing people with beautiful flowers for their most meaningful occasions. Flowers have a way to whisper what words cannot say.

Lori did the flowers for my wedding. She was also able to add in a last-minute flower-girl basket with only a few days notice that was lovely. I still have my bridal bouque.
I was lucky enough to get a candy basket from here (gift from my husband). All of my favorites, plus some things I had never tried that are now on my favorites list! There was big and small things, so I had plenty to share.
She has also arranged to get flowers to my parents out of state with a shop that did an excellent job.
I follow the store’s page on facebook, and the pictures of the arrangements and prom assessories are amazing. It’s a nice addition to my news feed.
She is willing to work with you to get it perfect. You can’t ask for more than that. Never disappointed.

Lori did the arrangements for my wedding and everything was beautiful and reasonably priced. She is very attentive and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. This is a smaller shop so I suggest looking into her well in advance… good luck!

I walked in and asked if they could prepare an arrangement for my parents anniversary. The owner took the time to create a beautiful piece that included sunflowers. My parents, especially my Mother, loved it. I am not really a flower-guy, but now I know where to go for any flowers in the future.

Kinda stumbled upon this shop about a month ago. I was buying wine across the street for a sweet anniversary dinner, and spotted «Melrose Blossoms.» My first thought, «perfect location.» They are on Main St. at the corner of Upham/Essex st. in Melrose, with plenty of on street parking. That part of Main St. is a «one stop» area for all your errands.
Walking into Melrose Blossoms, there is a huge walk –in cooler, filled with bright colors and fresh smells. My second thought, «Jackpot! The owner was extremely helpful (and very easy on the eyes.) I walked out of there with an amazing arrangement and a new flower shop. My third thought… Well, maybe I’ll keep that to myself, but I think the guys know what I was thinking holding wine, and these beautiful flowers in my hand. I highly recommend Melrose Blossoms!

I had hoped this tiny shop would surprise me with all the impressive stats I noticed listed as a fairly new Unilocaler. I even gave them two chances. One arrangement I sent to my girlfriend and a second we sent to a funeral home for a friend’s father.
Unfortunately, my girlfriend’s vase looked like (In her words) «Something out of the super market fridge»? The Funeral Arrangement was also your typical poms cheap Lillie’s and lots of filler. Very uninspired and amateurish looking. For the fairly high cost I paid, it was very embarrassing compared to what we usually send from other shops.
At least I gave them a try but it’s back to the more popular shop in town.
