History
Established in 2010.
The Han Ryoo School of Alternative Therapy (HRSAT) was the dream of founder and director, Dr. Han Ryoo, Ph.D., MSOM, LMT to open a school to give anyone the opportunity to receive the necessary educational background to become a Massage Therapist or Asian Bodywork Therapist.
Dr. Ryoo and his team of superb faculty possess the educational credentials and therapeutic application of massage and bodywork techniques to teach courses at HRSAT. All faculty have extensive experience practicing massage and bodywork at various work places such as chiropractic clinics, medical facilities, spa centers and massage practices.
The Massage Therapy program at HRSAT is fully approved by the Department of Education in Pennsylvania and nationally assigned by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks (NCBTMB).

Business Owner
Dr. Han Ryoo studied at Drexel University and University of Pennsylvania and previously worked at Drexel University for more than 10 years. After graduating from Healing Hands Institute in New Jersey, Dr. Ryoo became a licensed massage therapist (NCBTMB.org) in Pennsylvania and New York. Additionally, Dr. Ryoo graduated from the Southern California University of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (SCUSOMA.edu) and is a Certified Practitioner for Asian Bodywork by the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA.org).
