History
Established in 2007.
Zipper Urogynecology was established in 2007 when Dr. Ralph Zipper opened one of the nation’s most influential urogynecology centers. Dr. Ralph Zipper and Dr. James Raders are a nationally-recognized urogynecologists who specialize in the care of women with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Dr. Sherri Lorraine, Central Florida’s only dual doctorate female-only pelvic floor physical therapist, serves as director of pelvic health and physical therapy at Zipper Urogynecology. Ms. Lang is the senior physician assistant at Zipper Urogynecology. She has worked side by side with Dr. Zipper for almost a decade.

Dr. Zipper is one of the nation’s most recognized thought leaders and Post-Doctoral Instructors. He has personally trained over 1,000 surgeons in his techniques. He is the inventor of some of the newest and most promising techniques and devices for the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse including a sling method with a 99 percent success rate.
Dr. Zipper attended the University of Connecticut and remains a devout Husky fan. He completed his graduate training at New York City’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine. His post doctoral work and Urogynecology training was completed at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. He moved to Melbourne in 1998 where he started what is now recognized as one of the nation’s premier Urogynecology treatment centers, Zipper Urogynecology.
