The Chandlery

Normally I am not a big fan of candle stores because the smells give me a headache and the prices make my wallet hurt. The Chandlery is the exception to the rule. They sell strongly scented candles and a variety of other beautiful goods at prices that will make you and your wallet smile. I also think that the people who run this store must be geniuses because they cover all their tester candles with bell jars, so that all of the smells keep to themselves instead of mingling to become what some might consider the odor of potpourri gone bad, also known as an instant headache. There are no headaches here, just great prices, beautiful products and the best customer service. The workers here are on a first name basis with all of their regular customers and they are very eager to assist anyone visiting their store.
I also respect the mission of this company to support the community. The Chandlery hosts candle parties monthly from 4:00 — 7:00 PM, with all proceeds going to a charity that supports the local community. On February 4^th, 2016 they are having a party to help support the 211 service provided by the United Way. The 211 service is a hotline that people can call (by dialing 211) for help with food, housing, utilities, mental health treatment, childcare issues, crisis counseling and elderly services. They serve food and wine at these parties, offer raffles and discounts beyond their already amazing prices, and you know you are buying beautiful goodies that support a good cause.

My wife and I were wandering around in the historic part of downtown Melbourne when we came across the Chandlery. If you like candles, you will love this place… They have several brands of quality candles to choose from. There are lots of unique decorative items to find here.
The owner and her staff were a joy to visit with. She has a unique sense of humor and is quite charming. This is the kind of mom n pop business I love to come across in my travels.

Absolutely in love with this store and the staff. they have a gift for everyone and always something for yourself ha-​ha .that’s what I do every time I just can’t help it .the prices are reasonable. Again the staff makes you feel like family .the manager rocks !!
