Best burger I’ve had in two months. The place is nice and well kept. The setting was amazing! A 50 – 70’s theme that have the place a nice vibe. The waiters were amazing and had a very nice attitude. A family friendly environment. There is nothing else to say but to eat here. DEFINITELY coming back!

Good old fashion burgers! It’s very casual — eat outside or in your car(think 1950’s drive-up). Be sure to order a side of onion rings; you won’t be disappointed! If you’re looking for a simple yet tasty burger, this is your place. It’s not gourmet, no fancy cheese options, no fancy toppings … just good old fashioned cooked to order burgers. The view isn’t the greatest; after all it’s located on USHWY1 and you can watch(and hear) the cars whizzing by, BUT the price is right and the burgers are tasty. Definitely worth a stop. I wish they were open Saturday AND Sunday … last we checked, they’re closed on Sundays.

Let me start this by saying that this is a drive-in, eat outside or at a small counter burger joint, not some fancy topping and organic meat/cheese hamburger thing. If you’re in the mood for a pure old school good burger, this is the place. The buns are toasted on the flat top(as they should be), and the onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had. If you want a fancy place, go somewhere else, if you want food that hits the spot, this is it. Also, if you’re a big fellow, and feeling hungry, I’d recommend going for the double burger instead of the single patty.

Great burgers and excellent service! Fun place with an old time 1950’s feel from the servers to the music.

This place is good for a drive inn. But not five star good. A little over priced but you do get a nice meal and you shouldn’t be hungry when you’re done. The young lady who helped me was great wish I would’ve got her name. They are dog friendly and I would eat there again if I was driving by but would not travel just to eat. keep in mind to get a five star for me you have to be really good. It would a 3 ½ star for me.

The best burgers around! French fries are great and a huge portion enough for two. Great 50’s music and great service.

We are somewhat new to the area and someone recommended this place to us as «the best burgers in the area». While I admit, that I am not a HUGE fan of burgers, I loved these. Be prepared: they are not gourmet burgers — they are diner burgers. Patties are on the thinner side, bun is toasted(and buttered?) and fresh condiments. I had been looking forward to trying this place regardless of the recommendation we got — because it’s just so cute! A diner from the 50s with posters up and oldies playing — I love that kind of stuff. I really hoped that the food would be good and we were not disappointed. Some more pros: — great price! This was a very cheap meal for the 4 of us. — friendly staff and owner really made us feel welcome — kids menu had the perfect offerings(for us), including some tasty grilled cheese — very good onion rings and fries — nice, fun, casual atmosphere The only con I can say is that they close somewhat early — on a Friday night, they closed at 8. I was disappointed, as I though it would be a great place to come back to in the evening for ice cream(although I was not 100% clear on if they had ice cream/shakes that day) I would highly recommend trying The Burger Inn.

burger tastes like a grilled cheese sandwich it is not appealing at all and very greasy. there are other local places with much better food. Update: Owner is sending me messages calling me a «hater» and acting childish.

With the dearth of good dining experiences in Melbourne, we are always looking for some place we can return to. The Burger Inn is not one we will be visiting again. We ordered a hamburger, cheeseburger, both«with everything», and onion rings. The burgers arrived hot & dry. If not for the tomato on the sandwich it would be like eating a «sand“wich. How they sucked all the moisture from the meat was amazing. I don’t think the oil used to fry the onion rings has been changed in this millennium. You could taste old french fries, fish(which wasn’t on the menu), and any thing else that may have fallen in the fryer. Even Five Guys or Burger King serve a more palatable meal.

Super friendly staff, the owner, Mike, genuine concern and thoughtfulness when he came over and asked us our meal was. The burger was exactly how I expected, tasty and the veggies were obviously fresh. I love the outdoor seating, it was warm but we had a nice breeze. Overall a enjoyable experience.

We waited 30 minutes just to get our drinks and this was AFTER my husband got out of the car to tell the car hop that we had to leave as we had somewhere to be. Then 7 minutes later she brought us our food after she said she was boxing it when my husband went up about our drinks. The burger was pretty good but not worth the wait.

Two stars because it was average to below average. Based off the review my husband and I were really excited to try the Burger Inn. We waited about 30 minutes for two burgers and two fries. The positive– the veggies on the burger were fresh and the sweet tea was pretty good. Negative– Patties seem to be pre-fab, no flavor and very thin. Think the size of a McDonalds burger. Fries were standard frozen fries no flavor. The top part of the bun toasted the bottom part cold. The cheese was barely melted. Won’t be going back unfortunately because we had such high hopes for local burger joint however there are chain restaurants around that offer better quality burgers.

Great little burger joint. Car service if you want it, tables outside, and a very small counter inside. The burgers were tasty, service was friendly. Minus one star for the fries that were a little mushy and bland. The fries aren’t enough to discourage me from going back.

Great food and great service at this family owned and operated drive in. You can get car hop service, sit at the outside tables or inside at the counter. Large portions and friendly servers make it a great place for lunch and dinner. Kids loved the 50’s feel and music.

Wow, I stumbled upon this place a couple years ago it was under different ownership and maybe a bit rundown but since then new owners have moved in and to fix the place up very nice. It’s owner operated and they couldn’t be any more passionate about what they’re doing. Great 50s style diner.

This is probably one of my favorite burger joints in the area, and I love me some burgers! The atmosphere is a good«car hop» style that reminds me of some of the spots you can find in the LA metro area. A great spot to stop when on US1, and for me when heading back with the dog from Wickham Park. Try the double bacon cheeseburger with everything, because it will make you go into a splendid«food coma» when you’re done. I like the shakes, and for the price they are a good size. My dog, JC, is a fan of the hot dogs, which is kind of scary because it has the word dog in it. Is that cannibalism? :)

This place is an institution. Been here forever. The old owner grumpy Al is one of Brevard county’s all time characters. Recent purchase by young owners they kept to the winning formula of old time burger and fries. Cant beat a old fashioned car hop. Great food cheap prices. Take your date. Cleaner and better than ever the 50s live on.

We found this place by searching g for the best burger in Melbourne. But we enjoyed so much I decided to write a review, we had the black bean burger and i’m Mikes cheesesteak. The service was quick it was prompt and the food was awesome, the prices are great it’s not expensive here and they had events every Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Fridays depending on what the what time the month. It’s a family-run business and they are absolutely the best visit here for a great burger.
