This is the definition of a hole in the wall. It’s got a few tables and is also a mini mart, so if you’re looking for a romantic place for a date, this ain’t it. If you’re looking for street food vibe and good service, then you’ve come to the right place. We went here for lunch and ordered the chicken shawarma and the lamb shawarma. Both were surprisingly toasted and wonderfully delicious. We also got the jallab drink which is an acquired taste. Overall, a good experience and we’ll be back when in the area.

Best stuffed grape leaves. Falafel and hummus are fantastic. So glad we happened upon it.

I have not tried everything yet on the menu but I could eat there everyday. Wonderful owners and staff. I have eaten middle eastern cuisine in very major cities and am very pleased that at least Melbourne Florida has one good one. i hope they never retire!!!

The best Middle Eastern restaurant I have ate at. The beef kabob is a must. All the food is made with care and is always delicious. I drive an hour to eat here about once a month but it is worth it.

This place was a wonderful hole in the wall. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was amazing. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The lamb was out of sight!

This place is wonderful. It is very close to the University(FIT) and if I were a student I would say goodbye to a cafeteria meal plan and hello to this place! First, it is one half middle eastern grocery and one half restaurant. The food helpings are generous, the service is kind and friendly, and the flavor was authentic. The pita sandwiches(I had lamb) are tasty and the spinach pie is delish. It is different from your traditional style greek spinach pie and very flavorful. Tip– it’s in a strip center. I took a photo of the sign. I meant to take photos of our food but we ate too fast. Hunger and tasty food mean no photos!

It’s an interesting set up because it doesn’t look like a restaurant from the outside. You walk into a grocery store and then to the left is a restaurant which is a decent atmosphere. They had some foreign music playing which kept with the authentic feel. There was an eclectic crowd there last night. There was a family, a group of students, and just some people eating on their own. The servers were really respectful and the server was even wearing gloves so as to not touch our silverware or plates. My bf and I both ordered entrées and the servings were a good size. I had the beef kafta and he had the lamb with rice. We could’ve shared one order, especially because the entrees both came with appetizers. We took home the rest of it. The food was delicious. I’d go back.

AMAZING! I love middle eastern food. Their baba ganaoosh(apologize about the spelling) was to die for. It tasted like the eggplants were smoked before they were puréed Did not like the pita however and the falafels were a bit dry. really authentic, family owned place with a market over the curtain where you can find middle eastern goodies. One of the daughters of the owner waited on us. Super sweet girl! Will be back to try more

The unassuming façade of this tiny restaurant might cause you to think twice about your choice. Brush those thoughts aside, my friend, for inside is true treasure. The food is fresh and well prepared, the service is most congenial, and the facility itself is clean and charming. Excellent food choices and delightful aromas abound, and it will be difficult to fathom the oh-so-reasonable prices.

This place has a nice family feel. The food is very good, I like the falafel and tahini sauce. It’s close to campus and can get busy around lunch time. The prices are fairly typical. Enjoy!

Food was so so. Service was clumsy, although the staff was very nice and was trying hard. We were told that there were Belly Dancers on Friday nights. We were there on a Friday night until after 7:00. We didn’t see any dancers. I looked over the grocery section and did not see anything that I could not find in Publx or Fresh Market. All and all, not very impressive.

This is one of the 3 best middle eastern stores in Florida in terms of grocery. The grocery items are reasonably priced. I loved the staff, very friendly and kind. The shawarmas aren’t the best, but they are good. My recommendation would be is try to make middle eastern sweets, and fresh pies. Then it would be the bed restaurant in Florida.

One of the few restaurants in this town I will recommend. Unexpected, but certainly happy I came upon this spot! This place is solid and never fails to impress and surprise. Whenever I have visitors on campus I always take them here for lunch. Many of the faculty, including myself, frequent this hidden gem weekly. Lamb shawarma is my go to dish, some of the best I’ve had in Florida. The food is always fresh, and this is particularly obvious based on the quality of the delicious Lebanese tabbouleh. Hummus and grape leaves are also superb and great to start off your meal. If you think Melbourne is a food desert, which it is, you’ll find this place to be an oasis.

Good value, food and atmosphere. I came here with two anti-social, racist and just overall strange people. Made the experience horrible. But not at all due to the restaurant. Would come back again and enjoy a real meal the second time around. Was embarassing to be frank. Service was slow, but again I was with shmucks so what do you expect.

I have been here twice and it has been a 50⁄50 experience. The atmosphere is okhay. Considering the fact that they are half grocery store half restaurant, I have never actually dined in. The first time I went, I ordered the Falalfel and chicken wrap. On the waitresses recommendation, I also got the lamb shawarma wrap. right off the bat, The falafel was super dry and small. It was definitely not fresh at all. The hummus was okhay, and a welcome treat because I was very hungry. The pita bread that they give with the hummus is a little on the dry end, but I guess it’s not too bad. With the chicken garlic wrap, I asked for an extra container of the garlic sauce — the sauce is very famous in Lebanese cuisine. however, they managed to curdle it in a really bad way. The sauce was extremely pungent and bitter which shows it hasn’t been emulsified in the right way. Anyone with experience eating Arabic food will be able to tell. as far as the lamb shawarma wrap is concerned, the meat smelled awful and I wasn’t able to finish it. I ended up throwing more than half of it away. The second time I visited, I asked for hummus delight and the shish taouk over rice. The hummus delight was actually pretty good. The shish tauk was dry and they randomly sprinkle paprika over the chicken, which can give you a really bad cough. The rice that it came on was somewhat flavorful. The tabbouleh definitely saved the day. It might be an okay place to eat Arabic food in the area, mostly because I don’t think there’s another Arabic restaurant at all. However, on an absolute scale this place is not so great…

A small but nice shop. Even if it is a little cramped. the food is very good and decently priced. the daily lunch special runs about $ 6.99 including a sandwich drink and either fries or a house salad. They also have a small grocery filled with spices and drinks and what seems to be all your hookah needs,

I can’t even describe how amazing this restaurant is! I called shortly after they opened and was able to get my lunch within 10 minutes. They were super friendly and very quick. We ordered the Lamb Shawarmas, gyros and Babaghannouj. Everything was delicious! Quite possibly the best Mediterranean food I have ever eaten. We will be coming back often!

Excellent food and great value. The lamb shawarma was my favorite — very flavorful and perfectly juicy. Falafel pita was also very good. Humus was exceptional. We also tried the zaatar, which was good, but probably not worth ordering again given how delightful the other dishes were.

This restaurant is outstanding. I wouldn’t even call it restaurant, they treat you like you’re family. Best plate is Lamb Shawarma, the best I’ve ever tried. Also, ask for the falafel appetizer and join everything with a fresh home-made lemonade. Prices are fair!!! p. s. They sell an awesome Pistacchio Turkish chocolate. Chokolata!

Middle Eastern Aromas is a really lovely little strip-mall gem on Florida Tech’s campus. I came here on a Friday night with my brother. We were expecting some grand restaurant based on the Unilocal ratings, but Middle Eastern Aromas is really just a small strip-mall restaurant that is very easy to miss. The venue itself is really half-restaurant, half grocery-store, which is a bit off-putting. However, there is a clear divide between the two, so after you’re there for like 10 minutes or so, you forget that people are coming in and out and are buying things and are… watching you eat. We were seated and asked to order immediately. My brother and I both ordered the same thing – the Fool Moudammas Vegetarian Pita Sandwich – and got a Jallab drink, Zaatar Pie, and French Fries to split. We waited about 15 minutes for our Jallab, Zaatar Pie, and French Fries to arrive. The Jallab is a date-based drink that was VERY sweet and grainy – I really disliked it, but my brother loved it, so I suppose that’s just a personal preference. The Zaatar Pie was out-of-this-world incredible. It’s not actually a pie… it’s actually just a man’ousheh with za’atar spices, but it was phenomenal. The bread was crisp but soft on the interior, and the za’atar was really well made and spread. Definitely the highlight of my meal, and I’d love to go back just for the Zaatar Pie alone. The fries were standard… fries. As we waited for our Fool Moudammas Vegetarian Pita Sandwiches to come out, we were treated to an impromptu bellydancing session. A super talented girl came out and just… started dancing in the middle of the restaurant. It would have been really great if there weren’t only 4 people in the restaurant, haha. The entire experience became incredibly uncomfortable due to the absence of patrons – I wish she had waited for 15 minutes, when 2 huge parties came in to eat. Bad timing on the owners’ part. The Fool Moudammas Vegetarian Pita Sandwich was very small and very average. It tasted like a gyro sandwich, I guess, without the meat and with lovely, flavorful fava beans. It was fine, but I was really just struck by how small it was. The photos on this Unilocal page make it look much larger, when really it’s unnervingly the size of a dollar bill, or so. Nonetheless, it was a solid, good dish. Overall, yes, I am glad Middle Eastern Aromas exists in Melbourne to diversify the Americana restaurant landscape. The food is solid, but hopefully the restaurant becomes less… uncomfortable in terms of ambiance. Nevertheless, it’s certainly worth checking out if you’re in the Florida Tech area.
