Biographical information on Jerry:

Jerry comes from a long line of pastors and ministers of the gospel, one of which is Jonathan Edwards (The Great Awakening). He was called to the ministry at the age of 16 but chose to walk away from God in pursuit of a pro-​baseball career. In 1983, he married the girl of his dreams, and received a call from the Los Angeles Dodgers to schedule him for a tryout that same year; that, however, was not what God had planned for him. After spending several years in the business world, he felt a call to leave and move into what God had called him to do. In September of 1989, Jerry answered the call of God on his life, and has not turned back.
