Double Tapp Grill

We stopped for lunch & I guess we chose badly. Fish N Chips was frozen fish & greasy.

Mens room sink broken.
Both sinks, both faucets!
Every male patron that uses the bathroom has no choice but to spread his germs around the restraunt.
I have serious doubts that each of the male employees are washing their hands in the kitchen after every bathroom trip.
There is no excuse for repairs so cheap and so easy being delayed.
But both sinks ignored.

New little location. They ate part for a indoor shooting range. It’s pretty cool. You know after blowing throught a thousand rounds. I get petty hungry and my muscles need some fresh protein to recover from all the recoil. You don’t actually hear any guns going off inside the restaurant area and would never know there is a range only 50 feet away.
The set up is a petty open café style. Nice new and clean. I really like the woods work around the bar. The blue quartz counter tops look really nice. Staff wad friendly.
The food was great. I mean it’s not a five star resort. But it’s like a neighborhood bar. Food is good, we were very happy. Plenty of TV’s displaying sports. So it would make a cool hang out location.
Bottom line: We will return.

Somewhat small, but very clean and the food was really good. I ordered the Gator Tail and my boyfriend got the Frogs Legs. I’d never had Gator Tail before so I can’t compare it to anything but I enjoyed it very much. It was sort of like Chicken Nuggets but a chewier texture. The dipping sauce that they served with it was super delicious, sort of sweet but tangy too. I tried a bite of the Frogs Legs, I’d had those before and they too were very tasty, somewhat on the small side though. All in all it’s a cute little place with a good selection on the menu. Worth a try.

They carry a very diverse menu. Bar appetizers salads sandwiches and even some comfort food. They serve a small selection of beer and wine only. The restaurant is very clean and great service. The food is fresh and was very tasty. The restaurant is on the small side, would not recommend groups over 6. I will definitely be back.

I have been twice now. The food is fresh and comes out pretty quickly. The first time we went their didn’t seem to be anyone at the front desk hostessing and had to wait a bit but someone came to the rescue quickly. We have had the burgers, prime rib melt and the meatloaf. All delicious! Not a loud atmosphere and is SO clean! Ill be back :)

Food was good and the staff was very friendly. Parking was horrible. But overall a nice experience. The dining room was smaller than i expected but didnt have to wait that long

Had my eye on this place for a while and finally took my family there this past Sunday and it was a great experience. For starters the place was incredibly clean. The restaurant was packed so we had some time to look around while waiting for a table to clear. There was plenty to see. After a short 5 minutes a table was ready for us.
We found the service to be very attentive (remember the place was packed) and our food was prepared in a short amount of time. Our waitress kept bringing refills without us having to ask and before the glass dried up. I love that! We started with an order of gator tail as an appetizer, we all enjoyed it very much. The dipping sauce was some sort of onion relish and it was delicious. My wife and I each ordered a burger and my kids had pizza and teriyaki wings. The burgers were both cooked exactly the way we ordered them (mine medium rare and my wife’s medium) and were accompanied by fresh toppings and perfectly grilled buns. Who doesn’t love a grilled bun? The taste of the burgers was phenomenal! My son gave the pizza two thumbs up and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her wings.
Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Great Range and great food. Me and my wife went to shoot a few rounds and try the bar. We ordered a burger which was cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back.

Life if full of surprises, I think that’s what actually makes it worth living. ‘Why?’ you might ask? Because sometimes you get surprised by quick, uninformed choices for eating out. This is what happened to my wife and I with respect to the Double Tapp Grill.
The Double Tapp Grill was on this particular evening located nearby where our son’s marching band was being assessed for their performance during this season. We looked up the nearby restaurants, saw this one was closest and drove straight to it. Only knowing it was listed as ‘American (New)’, we were hoping to get in, eat, and get out quickly and that the food wouldn’t be too bad. Well, not only was the service friendly and efficient, but the food we ate this evening was fabulous.
After walking in and being impressed by the clear and airy décor, things started a bit slow for us. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked, so we did. But then we waited a while, long enough to make us nervous, before the staff kicked into high gear. The hostess and waitress apologized for our wait, we were then quickly served water, asked for our drinks and then they took our order in no time.
My wife had their mushroom burger, our little niece had their kid’s burger, and I had the chicken breast cordon blue sandwich. My wife and I shared so I can tell you both items were great. The fries I ordered were crispy, although her potato salad was pretty good. The waitress (a bubbly gal called Athena) did a great job of keeping my iced tea bottomless (I was very impressed) and she really did a nice job with our niece, talking to her and making her feel welcomed.
They have some really great pies and cheesecake for dessert — I had their peanut butter pie while my wife had a raspberry chocolate cheesecake. But what made it extra special was the suggestion by Athena to put a dollop of chocolate soft serve on top each — I told her she needed to trademark the idea because it was brilliant.
My only complaint, and it is really only a nit, was they only had the one waitress and hostess to serve a sizeable number of tables on a busy Saturday night. Poor Athena looked like she was running ragged, but she kept up with everything, somehow, nonetheless. We don’t normally gush about our experience to the staff, but both my wife and I went out of our ways to let them know they have something special going on in this place.

What a great meal! My fiancée had the prime rib sandwich special… really really tasty! I enjoyed the Angus burger… YUM! We will be back again.

I went to the grill today and I’m happy to say that it exceeded my expectations in every way! The place looks great and the food was exceptional. I’m wondering why anyone is waiting for a freaking table at lunch in downtown Melbourne when this place is right down the street and 100X better. Seriously the meatloaf sandwich was my husbands lunch AND dinner today and he is 6“5 270lbs so, nice sized portions to say the least. And we loved the gator tail and country fried steak sandwich. Such a good place for a change in Melbourne

My wife and I went to check out the gun range and stopped in for lunch. Greeted pleasantly and seated immediately. Restaurant was bright, well organized, and clean. We were waited on and received drinks quickly. Food came out quickly. My first impression was food was well plated and looked extremely fresh. I got the Cajun Po Boy wrap that came with slaw and fries. Wrap was fresh and really tasty. Slaw was also freshly made and very good. Fries were hot and good. Wife got the Southwest blackened chicken salad. She commented on its freshness and the amount of fresh avocado (which she loves) in it. She demolished it.
Had an excellent wine and beer selection as well. I can see us enjoying a nice dinner and drinks after utilizing the range soon.
I’m a stickler, and the Double Tapp Gril was ⁵⁄₅ on service and ⁵⁄₅ of food quality/​taste. Congrats to whoever is running the show.

This place was a super convenient place to eat after an afternoon at the range. Had the special (patty melt) and it was absolutely delicious. Casual, family atmosphere. Good service and decent selection of menu items.

Finally got a chance to try the restaurant since their soft opening. I had the French dip wrap while my husband had a burger. Both were very good served with a picked, cole slaw and delicious onion rings.
The staff was very friendly and made sure that our visit was pleasant.

One big new building. A gun store and indoor pistol and rifle ranges on one side and a restaurant on the other. Its an interesting concept and I like it alot. The service here is very good. Seated promptly and order taken right away. Follow ups by our server making sure we were happy was appreciated. I ordered a cup of the special soup made of frog leg and gator meat. It had a light tomato base and vegetables. It was very tasty and an appreciated rarity. The cuban wrap too was very tasty. Everything thats usually in a cuban all wrapped up tight and hot.
I look forward to my next visit.

This place is part of a dual business, gun range (Frog Bones) and grill and they are both great! After shooting we went over to the grill for some lunch. Fabulous! Started with buffalo wings, which were perfectly spiced, not too hot. Followed with a spinach goat cheese salad and my son had the shrimp po boy. Both perfect. One fellow next to us was having the garlic frog legs and another had a gigantic turkey club. Both looked great and they said they were! We will definitely be going back there for both activities, shooting and eating. Beer and wine only at this time.
