The Hideaway is a great place… if you can find it. Nestled off Henley Court in Downtown Melbourne near the Manatee Park and Crane Creek. We offer an «Old Florida» feel and Coastal Cuisine. Lots of fresh seafood from the steamer menu, best Crab Cakes, Cuban Sandwich (the sandwich of love), BBQ, homemade Black Bean Burgers, fish, shrimp, or pork Tacos & Costa Rican Bowls. All made with fresh ingredients. Our draft beer list is ever-​changing with local Florida beers. And our wine list is full of ripe, plump, fruity selections. We offer «Happy Hour» daily with many $ 1 drafts & bottles & $ 4 wines. A 20oz. Guinness draft for $ 3 daily & our Crane Creek Pilsner for $ 2. History

Established in 2012.

After years in Maryland, the Florida Keys and the Outer Banks of North Carolina, creating and serving dishes from the local areas «The Beach Shack on Ocean Ave.» in Melbourne Beach was born. Yet short lived, a small kitchen with a window and 6 seats out front. We started serving our style of Coastal Cuisine along with burgers, dogs & fries and it just took off. Unfortunately, we had to close that location and search for a new one after our beloved landlord died and took our lease with him. After about a year we were able to find a new location to put all the years of recipe perfecting together.

After spending years in the business together on the East coast we have settled in Melbourne and are very happy to offer what we think is an «Old Florida» feel. Crane Creek Hideaway is what happens when you put a «Floridiot» and a «Mary-​lander» together.
