Arthur W. Niergarth, Jr. was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on January 1, 1956. Mr. Niergarth attended the University of Florida and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. He served as a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper in Broward County, Florida until entering Nova University Shepard Broad Law School in Ft. Lauderdale in 1982. He graduated in 1984 and began his legal career as an associate with Fazio, Dawson, DiSalvo & Cannon in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Niergarth then moved to central Florida to manage GEICO Insurance Company’s House Counsel operation for Orlando and the surrounding areas until 1996 when he opened his own practice in Melbourne, Florida. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer who is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Brevard County Bar Association, The American Association for Justice and the Florida Justice Association.
