This Is The Reason I Prefer 30 And Over As My Genre. When Shooting Boudoir If Your Client Has Swung Around A Few Chandeliers Then They’re Going To Give Me Amazing Results As Well As Me Giving Them The Same. I Think Of It As A Collaboration I Shoot You As You Are And They May Be A Gift For Someone Else But In The End Mostly We Do It For Us.

I didn’t get the best start in life.

I didn’t graduate from high school.

I never went to college.

I fell in love with the work of a famous

photographer from my hometown when I was 18.

I didn’t yet answer my calling.

I got married. It was a mistake.

Three years later I met my best friend.

A few more years went by. I married him.

For the first time, I felt free to ask «Who is Darcy?»

I ended up with a Canon Rebel t2i after a broken family relationship.

It sat in the bag for two years

Every time I laid eyes on it, I felt victimized, dismissed, resentment, anger.

An old friend came to visit.

«Pick it up ‚» he said. «You might like it.»

I did.

The hole inside of me closed. I found that thing. This thing. The thing I was always lacking.

This is what I was born to do.

Every day is exciting. Every day I get to create.

I hope we meet but if we never do, follow your dreams no matter what.
