Turbo Pro Tires

BUYER BEWARE!!! Late Thursday Evening, ran into something and my Pirelli Run Flat was gone, I spent the whole day Friday searching for a new Pirelli 225÷40÷19 since car was inoperable. Finally ordered a NEW tire from a Big Box Store and was told it should arrive on overnight delivery on Saturday ⁰⁹⁄₀₅. While I was expecting my new Pirelli Run Flat Tire that I ordered yesterday from a nationwide big box store, they called and informed me that it didn’t arrive on their truck due to the Labor Day weekend and the earliest was TUES. I had done some homework late Friday evening and looked up on Craigslist as a backup plan and found «Turbo Pro Tires» had a similar used Pirelli Run Flat. I called TURBO PRO TIRES on Saturday ⁰⁹⁄₀₅ right after receiving the news that there are no need tires anywhere until TUES and I needed a TIRE since I was in a dilemma and had to work the weekend. I spoke to «Mike» who say he had the one I needed and he said it was in «like new» condition. THIS IS A TOTAL LIE!!! FOR $ 150 (note: he had a set of 2 Pirelli RUN FLAT 225÷35÷19 for $ 240 LISTED on Craiglist a day ago with better tread life but I needed 225÷40÷19, he then said $ 140. I then asked for the photos of the actual tire but was told to call back in an hour after he opened, after calling twice, I finally received photos which I was concerned about since the tire was «NOWHERE close to being LIKE NEW», as described. I mentioned if the TIRE was patched since it shows signs of no treadlife on a particular section strip and in addition, Mike also said it was a 89Y but TIRE WAS 89W, another LIE, unfortunately, my car was not in driving condition and AFTER I had already secured the towing service which was too late to change my mind. Had a BAD FEELING about this whole transaction but I needed to get to work so I arrived there. To make this short, the place IS NOT adequately equipped AT ALL to do a proper job without DAMAGING your rims, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED to my rims when he used a crowbar to assist taking off the tire. After paying him CASH, I inspected the rim and sure enough, small chips and nicks on my RIMS. I said to MIKE, THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE of any establishment and THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT WANT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF HIS OWN ACTIONS, I told him I would not leave until I got a receipt STATING what he had done and he would have to pay to have my rims repaired at the company of my choosing. I was so PISSED OFF that someone would not take PRIDE OF THEIR OWN WORK AND BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES to ANOTHER PERSON’s PERSONAL PROPERTY!!! On TOP of all this, this Pirelli TIRE is giving a weird vibration and noise when driving on the road, lost a little traction while driving in the rain last night too, I will have my car brought in with the DEALER this week for diagnostic. THIS TIRE may not be even suitable for USE. I will make a formal COMPLAINT with the Better Business Bureau when I’m done. Have to spend time off getting car this week to have rims REPAIRED and went back to this establishment and wasn’t reimburse for the DAMAGE he cause.

I believe it is owned by 1 gentleman. Came in for new Pirelli tires and got a pair of used ones for a stellar price. It is a smaller place so most customers just wait outside and you can see him work. Granted it was 100 degrees, he was efficient and quick. He also filled the tire pressure on all my tires per request. Best to call ahead to make sure there are tires available in your size. Takes cash only, but an ATM across the street for $ 2.50 gets the job done. Some of the inventory is listed on craigslist. Would recommend.
