History

Established in 1988.

VR and Nancy Williams are the owners and founders of Williams on the Lake. They started our company in 1985 as an off-​premise catering business named Uniquely You Custom Catering, which was located in the side office, «turned kitchen,» in the front building of 787 Lafayette Rd.

Nancy, a registered nurse, and VR, a self made entrepreneur in the oil and trucking business, decided to build Lakeside South in 1987. The first on-​premise event was held in April 1988. Medina residents had been very supportive of our efforts, so in 2004 we added the third building, Lakeside East.

The Williams’ concept began as a family business serving area families. We are pleased to say that this concept has evolved into a family tradition to serve area families and businesses in the absolute best way that we can. Four generations of Williams now serve the Medina, Wooster, Akron and Cleveland areas. We thank our new & loyal customers for their support. We know that none of this is possible without you!

Manager

Mark Williams is the general manager as well as Nancy’s oldest son. Mark has worked in every area of the business prior to taking over the general managers position. If you ever need anything don’t hesitate to ask him.
