Smith Bros. Inc. provides a variety of mulch and landscape products. Our products consist of soils, landscape mulch, playground mulch, stone & gravel, compost, and many other landscape products to contractors and home owners. We offer bulk mulch delivery Monday through Saturday and seasonally on Sundays (call for hours). Our drivers are well-trained, courteous and prompt. Smith Bros. will deliver truck loads of mulch from 1 yard to a full semi, with a price discount starting at 5 yards.

In the early 1960’s, brothers Glenn and Myron Smith began hauling sawdust that they used to bed their families dairy cows. The sawdust was purchased from local sawmills in Medina, Ohio. When they had an excess they would sell it to other local farmers for their cows and horses. This was the beginning of Smith Bros. Inc.
To handle the growing demand for sawdust the brothers purchased a truck to haul sawdust from sawmills in southern Ohio. At that time, bark off of the mills’ logs was a waste product. The sawmill would burn it or haul it to the dump. Glenn and Myron began using the waste product as landscaping material. Over the years, they developed techniques to process the bark and create a superior product that is still sold today.
As times on the farm changed the Smith family converted their dairy farm into a horse stable, known as Broken Paddle Stables. The stable was run by Richard and Marguerite Smith, the parents to Glenn and Myron. Broken Paddle Stables became the areas large
