History

Established in 2009.

Mindy Thomas, MS, CPRW, a professionally trained career counselor, launched a new career services consulting company, Thomas Career Consulting, LLC in 2009. After being laid off on from her job as a legal recruiter on January 26, 2009, the largest layoff day in modern American history, she decided to invest her time and effort in her own business providing career counseling and résumé writing services.

Mindy Thomas has dedicated her career assisting in the professional development of students and adults for over fifteen years. She has worked extensively at both two-​year and four-​year colleges. Mindy specializes in career exploration, self assessment, résumé writing, and career coaching, in addition to, conducting Myers Briggs and other career related workshops. A certified résumé writer, Mindy specializes in résumé construction, from entry-​level to professional/​executive level résumés.

Mindy Thomas has dedicated her career assisting in the professional development of students and adults for over fifteen years. She has worked extensively at both two-​year and four-​year colleges, combining her business background with a solid foundation of career counseling and sales-​training skills. Mindy specializes in career exploration, self assessment, résumé writing, and career coaching, in addition to, conducting Myers-​Briggs and other career related workshops. Mindy is a certified résumé writer, and a member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches.

Mindy currently serves as an adjunct professor at Immaculata University. Mindy graduated with a BA in Political Science from Mary Washington University and received her MS in Higher Education Counseling from West Chester University. Her can-​do approach, coupled with a genuine passion to help her clients, empowers them to attain their maximum potential.
