Started out by providing support Portec Wire guidance systems and helping people out with there computer problems. Moved into supporting small and medium size business in all the IT Support needs. We started in the Media, PA are and serviced Delaware County and Philadelphia.

Business Owner

Barry founded Technical Service Assistance (TSA) Inc in 1983 to assist customers in the implementation, operation and maintenance of high technology products. Prior to starting his own company he worked for Portec Inc. providing computer information handling systems for warehouse facilities operations as well as wire-​guided and automatic-​guided vehicle systems for the material handling industry.

As the eastern regional manager for Portec Barry was responsible for overseeing the field engineers who installed and designed Portec systems. From 1983 through 1991 TSA continued to focus on servicing the material handling industry. In 1991 the company expanded its scope of work to include the installation and service of computer network systems. The company presently serves approximately 500 computer business customers and provides computer support to residential customers. Technical Service Assistance also continues to service Portec systems.
