This guy was my hero today following a power outage followed by giant sparks flying out of our fuse box, and the discovery of some really bad wiring choices by the prior owner of our condo. He came by on a Sunday within about two hours of my call and was very easily reachable and responsive. He even communicated by text. He definitely cares about the safety of his clients… super nice and knowledgable. We’ll definitely use him for some future jobs.

Total nightmare. Came in with a case of the «yeah yeah’s» didn’t listen, named his price. Showed up next day at 10:30, left at 11:30 for 2 hour lunch and «was done» at 3:45. Work is borderline dangerous. Light and fan on same switch (really??), located vanity box wrong area, took no responsibility, wouldn’t come to fix it. Has everything on 1circuit cuz I don’t see a new one but I paid for it. Total disappointment. In business if you can’t keep your word what good are you?

I found Vinny on Angie’s List earlier this summer and reached out to him to have two ceiling fans hung in my East Arlington home. I chose him based on the many positive reviews that I found both on AL and other sources online (HomeAdvisor, BBB, Unilocal,etc). When I called, Vinny was polite, courteous and easy to make an appointment with. He arrived to our home and was on time (which I always appreciate!) and brought his partner, Jerry, with him. They worked diligently and installed both ceiling fans in about three hours, and that included the time it took them to fix the wiring that had been done incorrectly by the previous owners. Both Jerry and Vinny were friendly, funny and totally down to earth, answering my questions and explaining things as needed. They left our house spotless and we have been very happy with their work!
Just yesterday (12÷7÷14), I managed to flip two CFI outlets in our kitchen while making brunch. THe breaker didn’t flip, but the outlets wouldn’t reset. After some googling, I found out that the outlets often won’t reset as a safety precaution when there’s a bigger problem, and so my first response was to call Vinny again. He quickly replied to my text and then called, to let me know that he and Jerry could come out this morning (¹²⁄₈). They arrived right on time (hooray!) and got to work. They quickly discovered that our breaker hadn’t flipped b/​c the fuse for the outlets was incorrectly wired into our downstairs neighbor’s breaker box, and also that the outlets themselves were not wired correctly to their own dedicated circuits as they should have been. Vinny and Jerry fixed not only the outlets, but the wiring and the breakers (all the while I have been shaking my head at the people who remodeled our house and their lack of skill!). They were once again great to work with and after 2.5 hours, everything is back working the way it should be (and my dishwasher is happily running!).
We have a new baby and it makes me so very happy that we have things working the way they should be and SAFELY. I whole heartedly recommend Vinny and Jerry, and think that you will be more than satisfied with their work, their professionalism and their prompt, courteous service. We already have them lined up to replace all of our outdoor lights and have recommended them to many of our neighbors. It’s hard to find quality tradespeople that are easy to work with, professional and trustworthy, but I can assure you, Vinny and Jerry are wonderful electricians who do a great job! We are very satisfied customers!

Vincent is an unreliable electrician who I would not recommend to anyone. He took a job that should have taken him a couple of weeks and dragged it out for 3+ months. When the work was done incorrectly, he was extremely difficult to get a hold of and it ultimately took 3 weeks and a call to the city before he came to fix the work. During those 3 weeks, he would make an appointment but then not show up and make no effort to contact me of said cancellation. This happened four times. In addition, he was quick to blame others and me if the work was done incorrectly.

I asked my friend if they knew an electrician and they had used Vincent last year. I wanted recessed lights in my kitchen and living room. He designed the lighting layout for me and had them installed by the end of the day. I could not have figured out a better layout myself and Vincent and his helper Jerry were so polite, understanding, and professional. They were also the most reasonably priced out of all the options I looked into. I absolutely recommend them and I look forward to using their services in the future for any electrical issues that may arise.
