Sammi is the reason for my love of yoga. I joined the BSC in Wellington when it opened… and really, the reason why I stayed there was because of Sammi’s class. I was introduced to yoga via Sammi — never realized that it would be such a great workout! Sammi’s classes are actual workouts… unlike some other classes I’ve attended where Power Yoga turns into an hour long stretching class. Sammi incorporates a lot of core work which increases the challenge. I’ve moved on from the BSC due to location etc. and I have yet to find someone who can replace Sammi!

Sammi is a fabulous yoga instructor and personal trainer… she’s understanding and willing to help you gain your physical goals. I’ve been attending Sammi’s yoga classes at BSC for +2 yrs and she’s amazing. Her classes are always different and seriously does the body good. Because I have so much trust in her; I had asked her to be my personal trainer. I had a anterior shoulder sprang that I was out of commission for about 6 months and I was going crazy. But Sammi helped me a lot, she trained me and built my muscles back up and in matter of weeks my shoulder came back to normal.

I started taking Sammi’s class at BSC about 3+ years ago. Yoga was something I didn’t love right away, trying it off/on but never sticking b/c I thought some of the teachers could be a bit hippy dippy. Sammi is a dedicated athlete; teaching spin, an avid runner and can be found in any part of the gym. She teaches her class for all types but mostly folks that want a solid total body workout while still respecting the yoga practice. She is really knowledgeable on injuries and can also guide your practice towards some of the other aches + pains you get from other activities. Helping cyclists with hip flexor or lower back, etc. The one issue I have w/some yoga classes is that you often have to decide between yoga or a weight or cardio class. But with Sammi I get a solid challenging workout and still get the yoga benefits. It’s really hard to find that. Best of all she takes requests and is very open to suggestions/criticisms. Take one class and you will be hooked on her classes!!!

Sammi is an extraordinary yoga teacher, her classes are uniquely Physically challenging. Her instruction is clear and precise and a joy to listen to. Although her classes at Boston Sports Club, Medford are taught at room temperature, I sweat almost as much as I do in a Baron Baptiste hot yoga class. Sammi incorporates lots of core and shoulder work. Every class is a bit different which makes it interesting and helps round out your practice and your condition. I have taken yoga from many different yoga instructors and I must say Sammi is one of the best!
