History
Established in 2003.
First opened with several tables and experienced a hard time in obtaining the business license due to zoning law restriction. With the help of the customers’ petition, it was approved for a dine-in restaurant with 30+ seats and beer & wine license.
Now the resturant expanded and finished the renovation in Oct 2008. There is a Sushi Bar, a full-service bar (full liquor license), three private rooms and two dine-in area to fit 100+ people.

Jen and Shirley L.
Business Owner
Jen, a second-generation Asian chef, learned Chinese cooking from his father, and studied Japanese cooking & Sushi in Tokyo for two years. After moved back to Boston, he learned other varieties of Asian cooking by working in Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and other Asian restaurants.
Jen and Shirley opened Sei Bar restaurant in Medford in 2003. Recently the restaurant expanded to include a Sushi bar, a full-service bar, three private rooms, and dine-in area with the capacity of more than 100 people.
Most of their business comes from the neighborhood, which builds a strong relationship with their community. Customers were invited to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
