I ordered dinner from here tonight around 8:00 for my family. The older woman with the accent(couldn’t figure it out, maybe greek?) was very sweet and kind to me over the phone. She called me «her sweetheart» which I thought was adorable and added a nice friendly touch to the service. After an hour of not receiving my order, I called back to check and they told me it was on it’s way. Again, 45 minutes after that call, I called again because I still hadn’t received my food. Again they said it was on the way. They called me back and told me the driver came to my door but somebody told them at the door that nobody ordered food. I told them that nobody has came to my door at all tonight. The sweet woman called me back and told me that due to a new young delivery driver, he didn’t pay attention and went to the wrong address. She apologized dearly, added in a free soda and sent my food, free of charge. Not a lot of fast food places will admit when they’re wrong so I respect them for taking care of us after their mistake. Food wasn’t so warm, but I’m not picky, I understand and it is what it is. Other than that, food and service was great.

Prices we’re okay. Not the best because if freezer chicken stripes just reheated. Plus they took 35 minutes and it was just me and a lady there. Service was slow and I personally find it an awkward atmosphere.

Not worth the wait. Delivery took about an hour longer than expected. The House Pizza was decent. If there’s a sale, I’d order it again. The gyro plate was a mixed bag. The gyro itself was okay, but the fries, salad, and rice were unseasoned and soggy.

Sometimes over an hour late with your delivery and rude when you call. Don’t bother.

This is by far, the warmest, most welcoming restaurant in Medford. The food is delicious. My kids love the pizza there, my favorite are the ground beef quesadillas, and my husband hasn’t settled on a favorite yet. George and his wife treat every customer that walks in as if they are family.

Mom and Pop shop owners really care about service and deliver quality food with a smile! If you like Gyros, greek pizza, or kabobs this is the place to go!

I love gyros. This place nailed it. Though I haven’t ordered anything other than the gyros, I always recommend going with the place’s specialty. What I mean by that is that these owners are Greek. They do Greek food extremely well, and I come from a place that had a HUGE Greek community, so I know good Greek when I taste it. They offer a huge variety of American foods and they win awards for their Roast Beefs. Go Greek anyway. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this place for a delicious lunch, incredibly friendly and personable owners that want to make sure you are happy, and it’s priced just right.

DONOTORDERTHEFISH!!! I called in for delivery and made the mistake of ordering a haddock and scallop plate. It came 1.5 hours later(I live a ½ mile down the road) and when I opened it was soggy and disgusting. I ate one bite of the haddock and had to throw it out because the taste was so horrendous.

Jeez, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. How hard is it to make a simple pizza? The dough was super flat but not crispy, they super skimped on the cheese. The sauce tasted like tomato paste from a can. I’m not very picky, but come on. Also delivery took about an hour for one pizza at 4PM. Ordering pizza is a splurge for me and I was super dissapointed.

My boyfriend and I have lived in Somerville for upwards of two years and while there is certainly no shortage of pizza places around here, we always keep coming back to Rosa’s. Their pizzas are awesome! I hear what some folks are saying about delivery sometimes taking a while, but we’ve noticed that it’s usually quicker ordering over the phone(versus online).

Wondering around Medford looking for a place to munch & stubble into this nice little sandwich shop. I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door. It has been a while since I have been back east & this place was just what I was hoping for! What I can only assume is the owner offered me a great sandwich(roast beef special). It was(to use the local lingo) Wicked good! Fully loaded with all the topping. Yes honey even onions. Dripping sloppy deliciousness you can’t find back home! If your in the Medford area & pass this spot up you are missing out. Everything u want in a small sandwich shop back east.

Had a craving for spanakopita and found Rosa’s on Unilocal.I agree that it seems like it would be best to dine in, rather than get delivery, as I did. Food is always better super fresh. Ordered through Grub Hub and was quoted an hour — food arrived in 20 minutes! Ordered: chicken kabob dinner, spanakopita, and baklava. Overall, decent, but not AMAZING. Spanakopita was a little dry for my taste, could’ve use more cheese. Rice pilaf was under seasoned. Chicken and pita though were DELICIOUS. I’ll definitely go back, but will probably dine in for freshness.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I got a roast beef sandwich, onion rings, and potato skins. I give this place one star for lack of customer service, for serving pre-frozen food, and for using oil in the deep fryer after it should be discarded. My order was 45 minutes late, the person at the restaurant just made excuses, _and_the delivery guy didn’t even apologize. Given all the reviews here that say how late and/or slow their service can be, you’d think the restaurant owners would be working on this problem. But I digress. Aside from being stone-cold, the food was bland. The roast beef was dry and tasteless. The onion rings and potato skins were not made from scratch but pre-frozen. The rings were greasy and tasted slightly metallic(the old-oil aftertaste). The skins had no vegetables on them at all, fresh or otherwise, not even onions or tomatoes. In short, this was a total waste of money. Maybe some of Rosa’s other dishes are better, but the lack of fresh ingredients and the other food quality issues make me unwilling to give them a second chance.

Generally I am not very picky but here is my reasoning for 2 stars: * It took an hour and a half to get my food delivered. * The food is decent, I am Greek so this was not real Greek food, it is American-ized. THEONLYPLUS: * The food is very inexpensive and they give you large portions of sides(rice/salad).

Quality of pizza: 5 star Quality of service: 2 star I’ve ordered from them a half dozen times. I keep giving them chances because their pizzas are so good. I love their Mediterranean. The couple who work there seem quite friendly too. However, their time estimates are always way off. Ready in 15 minutes? More like a half hour. Whatever they say, add 15 or 20 minutes so you’re not standing around. Also, every time I order I ask for no onions and I think maybe once they actually got that right. It’s always frustrating to sit down to your delicious take out to discover it’s not what you ordered.

Fine dining? No. Good, friendly place to get a consistently good take-out lunch for not much cash? Most definitely. I work nearby, and have become a «regular» at Rosa’s. Her salads are fresh and generous — I recommend the steak tips or chef’s salad. Roast beef sandwiches are good, and while the fries always need salt, they are crispy and greasy. I’ve never tried the pizza, so can’t give an opinion on that, but the BLT sub and club are fantastic. If you want finer dining, go to Salvatore’s next door. If you want someone to call you honey and give you a delicious chicken kabab wrap to go, hit up Rosa’s.

I may have different taste buds than the other reviewers but I for one LOVE their pizzas!(especially their crusts!) I’ve order through Foodler and the pizzas were some of the best I’ve had in Boston. Cheese was good, sauce was just right, and again, the crust was absolutely divine! Seems like they have fresh ingredients to me! Their delivery is mostly on time. It’s definitly worth the wait and usually no more than a 15 minute delay. Their motzarella sticks were so-so. The cheese wasn’t gooey enough for me in the center. I cannot speak on how the other food tastes but if it’s anything like their pizza then I’ll definitely be ordering more from them!
