History

Established in 2014.

Born in May of 2014 Rogue Aerial Productions came out of a desire to spend more time at home with family. Being a commercially licensed pilot for nearly 20 years the option to be home with my wife and 2 daughter’s were few and far between. After years of research and preparation Rogue Aerial Productions was born. We started off as strictly an aerial production company and quickly expanded into ground based operations as well. We have been blessed to have a lot of work and amazing clients. Rogue Aerial Productions is here and we are ready to blow you away!

I started flying when I was 14 and have had a lifelong fascination with aviation. I attended Lane Community College in 1995 and earned an AA Degree in Flight Technology. I have flown for several different companies. After losing my mother to cancer in 2008 to cancer I decided to find a way to have more time to my family, flying had me away from home too much.

I have been flying RC aircraft since the early 90’s and had a particular love for RC helicopters. As quadcopters and other drones became available to the general public I started flying those. I started to see a commercially viable use for my hobby in aerial videography. I have began researching equipment and quickly realized I didn’t want a hobby shop drone like everyone else, I needed to make a serious investment if I wanted to provide the high quality video I was after. The XPX was the answer, it served our needs extremely well. We quickly expanded into ground production as well and Rogue Aerial Productions is here to stay!
