New View is Medford’s quality carpet cleaner. We provide high quality, sanitize our equipment/​hoses between jobs and focus on quick dry times.

We do upholstery cleaning, flood extraction, area rug cleaning, and VCT strip/​wax but our focus is carpets.

Carpet Cleaning Process

1.Pre-inspect — Walk thru with client to look for challenges or areas of concern.

2.Vacuum — Thorough vacuuming with a commercial vacuum to remove dry soil.

3.Prep Furniture — If necessary we put plastic tabs or foam blocks under furniture. This ensures that furniture stain doesn’t transfer to the carpet. (Often customers prefer to leave furniture where it is and have us edge around it).

4.Pre-Condition Carpet — a cleaning solution is sprayed to loosen & suspend soil that wasn’t removed during the vacuum process.

5.Agitation — Pre-​conditioner is worked into the carpet.

6.Extraction/ Neutralize — We use high heat and a neutralizing agent to balance the pH. By neutralizing, the carpet doesn’t unnaturally attract soil.

7.Spot Treatment — Some spots wont respond with standard extraction. We carry several alternate solutions that allow us to treat many of the stubborn spots.

8.Apply Protectant — When requested, we re-​apply carpet protectant to refresh your carpet’s stain resisting abilities.

9.Post Groom — We trim loose fibers and use a carpet rake to remove wand/​rotary marks. This also helps aid the drying process.

10.Place Down-​Draft Air Movers — We use high volume down draft air movers for fast drying.

History

Established in 2015.

This business is new, but I’d like to share a little bit of my background.

I’ve been in the carpet cleaning industry for nearly 10 years. I co-​own another carpet cleaning company and got my start contracting with property management. While I would clean carpet part-​time by day, I also managed a medical maintenance and supply company by night.

Over the years and between both jobs, I have seen first hand the nasty truth about what is in dirty carpet. I also learned a ton about the importance of disinfecting equipment and avoiding cross contamination.

Based off of these things that I was able to witness, I found I was always sanitizing everything before I cleaned my own carpet. There was no way that I wanted hoses that were in a medical clinic or a foreclosed home coming into contact with things in my home. My family deserves better than that.

These concerns led me to start New View. I knew there would be others that would see the value in our sanitization process.

I began carpet cleaning in 2006. Initially I worked with property management but transitioned into spending most of my time cleaning carpet in medical facilities. Because a carpet cleaners hose’s and equipment come in contact with some of the grossest things on the Earth, I started New View. We’re a carpet cleaning company that disinfects all equipment prior to the carpet cleaner bringing it into your home or business. The sanitizing process in lengthy and to my knowledge, we’re the only company that disinfects equipment between each job (not Medford or elsewhere). I’ve studied this and have looked into hundreds of companies. I haven’t found another.(I’ll update if I find one)

I love being able to see a noticeable difference at the end of the job. I also enjoy being an owner operator. There’s no satisfaction in leaving a job that I feel can be improved. Old carpet can’t be made new but as the owner, I can choose to stay as long as needed to obtain the best possible results
