Located in the heart of Medford, Nancy’s Family Salon offers a variety of services for the entire family. We are committed to making every visit a rejuvenating one whether you’re looking for a whole new look or a simple trim.

We can handle any hair process imaginable. Men can get pampered too with a haircut, beard and mustache trim. Our facial treatments are also a great choice to rejuvenate and pamper your skin. And if your looking to just come in for a whole manicure or just a polish trim we can do that too.

We also offer extensions, treatments and coloring, make-​up application, bridal and formal styling and waxing hair removal.

Established in 2012.

After 17 years of working in high-​end salons, Nancy opened her own salon. Nancy and staff are committed to their client’s needs, whether it’s a walk-​in or appointment, first-​time visitor or long-​time client. Welcome!

I brought my 17.5 month old son here yesterday for his first haircut. Nancy is amazing! She really listened to what I wanted. We did the whole consult while my son was playing in the toy area so he wouldn’t have to spend any more time in the chair than necessary. She worked far but also clearly cares about the quality of her work. She has good methods and tools for distraction. And all for less money than the big chains!

I called at the last minute for a first haircut for our 18 month old. She rearranged her schedule and had is in this afternoon. What a lovely experience. My son loved her and she knew just how to keep him occupied while she went to work. What a sweet woman Andy son’s hair looks great. We’ll be regulars.

Luckily got an appointment 2 days before xmas !! Lets just say my son hates haircuts. Its been close to 6 months since his last one !! But some how he didn’t freak out this time !! Nancy truly is the kid whisperer. I love the special kids chair just the right size, and the kids corner. Will definately be back !!

I took my 3.5 year old son to Nancy’s for the first time today. My husband and I are so pleased with the results! Our son has curly hair and we’ve had some bad hair cut experiences. His hair looks terrific. Nancy talked us through the whole process and had lots of creative ways to direct our son’s attention so that his head and body were positioned well for her to do the cut. We even got to pick out lollipops and other treats at the end of the cut. We will definitely be returning!

Based on Unilocal reviews I brought my 3 ½ year old here for her first-​ever haircut. Nancy did a wonderful job making her feel comfortable, giving me gentle directions, and of course, cutting her hair! We went home with a lock of my daughter’s hair and some fun prizes for good behavior. We will be back!

From the bottom of my heart and deeply sorry and that’s the truth. My lateness was my fault and yes you were correct about the 10 o clock appointment and yes you were correct about 1034 am as seen on your security camera. Which is true and that’s my fault. I take full responsibility for my actions both on the internet, Facebook and better business bureau. It was very bad for me to do hurtful things towards you and your clients. I truly apologize for what I did and I would never ever insult you and to bring down your business again. I did actual called BBB and talked to Robin and said no action were taken on your business. I did set up a Unilocal account. I swear on peter’s life and my father’s life, I would not bring down your business. Again I know you work hard and your business is your life and I sincerely hope your business will be successful .From now on, on the bible, wish you well for the future. Please accept the apology as a way to make a mends.

P.S I take back the fact your business was slow and it was true. It was booked up which means, nancy’s hair salon was busy. She is always busy with her clients. We just left our first appointment here and loved the whole experience!
Nancy cut my hair and gave my 3 year old her first true haircut. While cutting at least 10″ off my hair Nancy continually double checked exactly what I wanted and explained each step. She gave me the exact cut I wanted while helping to give my thinning hair lots of body and shine!
Nancy was also amazing and so patient with my daughter. Giving her stickers and talking to her throughout the process helping her cooperate. In the end she not only got a lollipop but got to pick a prize from her treasure chest!
It was a great experience and her prices can’t be beat! We’ll be back for sure!

She even managed to squeeze in my younger son who also needed a haircut, and both boys now look cute rather than disheveled! We will definitely use her services in future.

Love this place! I brought my 22 month old here for his first haircut and Nancy managed to give my son a flawless haircut even though my he was flailing around and crying all while she stayed cool and collected! Highly recommend!

We love Nancy! After bringing my son and daughter to another «chain» salon where they did exactly the opposite of what I asked for, we were recommended to Nancy’s. I have taken them three + times already and am happy each and every time we leave. She is exceptional with children (of all ages). I am so happy that we found her. She even has a little play area for the kids when they wait, and a «treasure box» they can pick from after their hair cut. Definitely a must if you have little ones!

Great for kids’ haircuts! I took my three-​year old daughter today for her first «big girl» haircut. Nancy was great with her. The Salon was very nicely set up, very clean, and she had everything ready for kids. There is a play area and treats and prizes at the end. She made my daughter comfortable, and did a great cut very quickly, all the time explaining how to help keep it up. Thanks, Nancy, we’ll be back!

A great place for kids’ haircuts. Nancy took us early on a Sunday at the very last minute. My toddler freaked out for the entire cut (as expected!) but she handled it like a pro. She brought out bubbles, allowed us to grab him a lollipop mid-​cut, and encouraged photos throughout the process. All in a chair with a lap belt, thank goodness. He never calmed down, but that didn’t faze her. :)
We will definitely be back for the little guy’s next cut!

A friend recommended me to Nancy’s when I was looking to get my eyebrows waxed. She did a great job, trimmed them and didn’t wax on top. Ive been there a few times since, its very reasonably priced.
This week I decided I was in desperate need of a hair cut. Im not from around here so my usual hair place is about a 40 minute drive and being very busy the next few weeks I needed something closer. After reading other Unilocal reviews I decided to try Nancy.
She did exactly what I wanted. Cut off the dead ends, kept it long, and trimmed up my layers. While it was a simple wash and cut I am very pleased with it. The haircut was also very reasonably priced.
Nancy is professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. I think Ive found my new hair place!

Nancy’s was a fantastic experience all around! I took my son (13 months) here with little to no expectations, given how squiggly he presumably would be. I also had my older son (4yrs) in tow. Nancy herself gave my son his first haircut. She had a special chair with a lap strap and was gently, calm, and positive. She was wonderful in dealing with him, but also happened to give him a fabulous haircut. She was super quick (but also accurate) and even introduced him to the clippers.
In the meantime, my other son was having a ball playing with the play tool bench and stove. He was completely engaged and didn’t have to worry about splitting my attention. Even though the whole thing probably last about 10 minutes, it was a wonderful experience.
We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I took our daughter her for her first real hair cut and we were so surprised at how well she did. In the past when we have tried to cut her bangs it was so stressful. She was scared and crying or just squirming around all the time. Nancy had our daughter completely calm and following her instructions. She did a great job and even fixed the hack job we did to her bangs.
After she was done, she gave us a certificate with a lock of her her to commemorate her first hair cut and let her pull a surprise out of a treasure chest in the waiting area. Our daughter the next day even said it was tie to get her hair cut again, she wanted to go back.
I went back a couple of weeks ago to get my hair cut there and she did a great job on me as well. My whole family will be going there from now on. If you are in the area you should definitely give this local business a try. Her prices are reasonable, she does an excellent job and she is fabulous with kids.
