Art gets an A for effort. I hear that Art is a 75 year old man who makes keys out of the back of his van. I spoke to him over the phone to confirm if he had the correct key blank(Schlage G). He took my phone number and called me back 30−60minutes later to confirm that he found the correct keys. I wanted to meet him at his location, but he insisted that we meet closer to where I was stationed(to do me a favor of course) and he would not be at his advertised location. I was already driving at the time, while we were conversing on speaker phone, so I quickly asked where we should meet and all I could remember/hear was to meet at Action Auto Wreckage. I pulled off to the side of the road, googled it, but it doesn’t exits under that gnarly name. I figured, and confirmed by Medford residents, that Art must have been referring to Action Auto Parts. At Action Auto Parts, I met a couple gentleman who knew Art seemingly well, but they haven’t seen his key duplicating van recently. I wished Art had a cell phone because the listed number is his house phone. His wife answers the phone and is really sweet, but does not know of her husbands exact locations. I couldn’t find Art. I hope he is okay. If you are out there Art, I still would like you to duplicate my key.

We were locked out of our trailer in a trailer park near Crater Lake. First big trip with the trailer and the locks were a little squirly. Anyway we needed a Locksmith so we could make our dinner. I called a place or two first and then got Art. He was awesome! He was very friendly and kind older gentleman. Charged me about ½ of what other people wanted and made a couple spare keys for me without being asked. Couldn’t have been a better experience as far as locking yourself out of a new trailer goes.
