The BBoy is the king of breakfast sandwiches. No other breakfast sandwich or meal can beat it. I’ve travelled to many different cities and countries and nothing else comes even close.

Unassuming from the exterior, ’twas actually my dog that recommended that I go into this place. On our daily walks, he always makes a beeline for Jim’s — the air is perfumed with promises of meat, meat and more meat. So I went in. Coffee and a b-boy, a delicious egg, cheese and [insert your favorite meat here] sandwich. Put me back all of $ 4.50. I’m here near daily, swing on into this wee slice of heaven.

The most fun experience I have ever had while ordering food. Jim cooks a meaty sub. THECLOGGER. Bacon, ham, sausage, and multiple eggs wrapped in melting cheese in such a chewy sub. I was stunned with the bread. With so much stuff on it, the bread is still extremely chewy and in tact! This is probably a once in a lifetime thing. This is truly how a small deli/grill should feel. Jim recommended putting bar barque sauce on my sub. Wow. It was a great contrast in flavor. From the savory meats with the creamy cheese and the sweet barbecue sauce! My boyfriend would not even tell me about what was in a clogger/bboy. Parking was a breeze which is always a bonus. There was a park near by with a huge parking lot, and there’s also a substantial amount of street parking near by. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s ready to truly experience THECLOGGER. People who didn’t give this place a five clearly didn’t have the legendary bboy.

I knew my boyfriend and I were serious, not when we moved in together, not when I met his parents, or when he met mine… Oh no, I knew it was the real deal when I finally felt it was time to take him to Jim’s. Jim’s B-Boy was a staple of my childhood. My friend Kathleen and I would scour our parent’s couches hoping to rustle up enough coins in in order to split one. Jim’s Market is a right of passage for any«Heights» kid. It’s what your parents bought you when you got your first hit in Little Leagues, and it’s where you picked up your road trip essentials before you shipped off to Cape Cod. The formula is simple: one fried egg, one grilled slice of ham, and two slices of cheese, all grilled to perfectly gooey, melt-y perfection and served on a sub roll. On weekend mornings, Jim’s pre-makes hundreds of these babies, but on weekends they grill each one fresh. Nowadays, you can customize your B-Boy with bacon or hot sauce, but please fight the urge to commit such blasphemy. You will only offend the delicate sensibilities of the Heights people. Anyways, you can keep your mascarpone French toast, pork belly poutine, bacon glazed donuts, and other fancy brunch offerings. All I need is a warm B-Boy and a cold Gatorade.

This place is located oddly in the middle of a residential area, but it’s a gem of a place. Their Bboys(pronounced Bee-Boys, not buh-boys) are legendary and you drench it in James River BBQ, which really makes it. They are so popular that there is just a mound of them rolled up in tin foil behind the counter. Ask for it «right off» if you want it fresh from the griddle. They are pretty cheap($ 3 on weekends) and satisfying. Can’t really ask for more than that.

I haven’t been here in 7 – 8 years and it is still the same as I remembered. Stopped by in the morning to pick up a bboy on the way to work, still $ 2(only in the morning). Load it up with some BBQ deliciousness and I’m ready to go. Ham, egg, cheese, and BBQ sauce inside a sub roll. Filling and cheap. Service is quick too. You’ll be in and out in less than 2 minutes.

I remember going here while cutting my first period class in high school to get one of their legendary breakfast sandwiches. They are called B-Boys. Why… who knows? Standard it is a slice of ham(bacon or sausage can be requested), egg, and cheese inside of a 12 inch roll. It is customary to load it up with their BBQ sauce, trust me. I went back on a day off recently and not much had changed at all. They sell so many of these that on the weekends they are stacked piping hot on the counter. It still has the run down look of a country store in Maine. Most importantly this place still has attitude. While deciding to change my order to the ones with him instead of waiting for one with bacon the guy at the register shouted to the guy on the grill«The president over here doesn’t have enough time to wait for bacon!»

Home of the original«B-Boys»… cheap(used to be much cheaper back in the day at 2 bucks, but still cheap at 3 bucks) hangover food. The BBQ sauce is what makes the sandwich… the sub itself is really not that impressive… but a three dollar sub with egg and either bacon, sausage or ham and cheese is the same price as an egg mcmuffin and a thousand times better. They basically pre-make tons of scrambled egg subs and wrap them up for the breakfast rush. If they made them fresh, I feel like they would be much better… but given the limited space, they have no choice. That and when you are just trying to keep down the booze from last night, you just want the pain to go away… so the immediate service is welcomed. The store really has nothing to offer beside B-Boys sandwiches… and said sandwiches are a great value and not that great. That said, the BBQ sauce they serve on them IS that great and is the reason besides the cheap prices for heading back. I can think of worse ways to cure a hangover than a B-Boys breakfast sub.

Recently moved down the street from this place. I have to say I think Ive been at least 4 times a week since. Great sandwiches, If you havent had a b-boy you havent lived. Steak and cheese is pretty good as well. They have a decent selection of drinks and chips, but the subs are where its at here.

Small little place in North Medford, been going there for many many years, can’t beat their breakfast special/b-boy sandwich. It would be a 5 star if the store had a little more to offer.

If this were a bar, it would be a dive. It’s small and a bit run down but they know how to make sone damn good sandwiches. B boys can’t be beat and I can only find the amazing BBQ sauce one other place in the whole state! Steak tip and chicken finger sub also stand out, I will be a lifelong customer!

Go there. Get a «B-Boy.» Add some barbeque sauce if you like, or other condiments perhaps. It’s a breakfast sandwich that comes on a 12″ sub roll. Fantastic. Go here in the morning to cure that vicious hangover. That’s all this place is good for.
