As a periodontist, Dr. Ferrin cares for a wide range of problems in relation to the mouth. He, along with his staff, provide excellent care in treating and preventative measures for various stages of gum disease, including various forms surgical procedures as necessary. In working with your dentist to construct specific plans for you, Dr. Ferrin aims to help you achieve long-​lasting and natural looking teeth. From non-​surgical to surgical treatments, patients are able to enjoy a healthier smile.

Dr. Ferrin brings a wealth of cutting-​edge periodontal training with him to Medford and Grants Pass. He was born in the mountains of Northern Utah and was raised part of his life there and part in Mississippi. He joined the U. S Army National Guard at the age of 17 and was a member for 14 years. He received his Bachelors Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Physiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and went on to earn his DMD at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. While attending there, he started a nationally recognized dental clinic to provide free dental care to Veterans in need. It was named Sargent Clint Ferrin Dental Clinic after his brother who neglected his oral health due to several deployments and was later killed in Iraq in 2004. For his work in the clinic he was awarded the ADA Foundation Award for student leadership.
