Established in 1975.

Chip Wright’s Champion Karate is Medford’s oldest and most prestigious karate school. Following the teachings of Mr. Chuck Norris’s United Fighting Arts Federation, Ninth degree Black Belt and International Fighting Champion, Mr. Chip Wright teaches and mentors in the art of Chun Kuk do. His award winning Black Belt Instructors develop individual skills, provide insight into the martial arts and instruct accomplished demonstration team and competition teams.

Chip Wright was promoted to 9^th Degree Black Belt in 2010 by Mr. Chuck Norris in the art of Chun Kuk Do. Mr. Wright is currently on the National Chun Kuk Do Board of Directors, is in charge of tournament development and coach of the National Chun Kuk Do Team.

In 1991 Mr. Wright was inducted into the Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame as «Competitor of the Year» and the Chun Kuk Do Hall of Fame in 2002.

Mr. Wright also worked on the TV show «Walker Texas Ranger» as Mr. Norris’s Stunt Double from 1993 to 2002. Other films he has been involved in include: Gym Kata, Eye for an Eye, Side Kicks, Top Dog, Forrest Warrior, The Cutter, Missionary Man and Walking Tall 2.
