There was a time, when Boston Market AKA Boston Chicken was fantastic. Truly. Those days are gone. What happened to the texture of the chicken? It’s weird and mushy now. Not good at all. The sides are decent, not great. The service in the few stores I’ve been too are fine. Nothing special. Overall Meh.

Boston Market. What can I say… This is a solid location– service is pretty consistent– quick and cordial… For a fast food restaurant, I have found that the sides are usually monitored for freshness … One of my go to places if I am not in the mood to cook.

I’ve ordered an assload of delicious chicken Carver combos from this joint over the years but this particular review is about my experience pre-ordering a turkey for Thanksgiving. My old lady and I wound up hosting Thanksgiving somewhat last minute. She called a couple days in advance to order a turkey because there was no God damned way we were preparing one on own because we simply didn’t feel like it. I showed up at 12:30 to pick the thing up and there was a separate line for pre-ordered shit. Every employee I dealt with was professional and competent. I was in and out of there in under 15 minutes. On top of that, the turkey was delicious. I was completely satisfied with my experience that I completely expected to suck because I am a pessimistic asshole. A+ performance by Boston Market, Wellington.

I’ve been to better Boston Market locations but this one is the closest. I’d say the food is average and the staff and décor are below average. The dark meat chicken plates with sides and corn bread are fine, the sandwiches tend to be dry. The dining room always smells like a dirty mop. And the last time I visited, the cashier argued with me about my order when I pointed out they had totaled up my bill incorrectly(the guy with the apron and tongs took my order, filled it, but failed to tell the cashier the specifics, so she decided to charge me for what she thought I should be charged, which was wrong). Since that experience I’ve avoided this location, but probably will be forced to come if I don’t have any other options.

I used to eat here all the time, but left the area(and two of my nearby locations closed) and hadn’t returned in 4 years. For a start, not one person there understood what I was asking for, opting for the classic ‘nod for yes, even though they clearly don’t speak English’ bit and then giving you an odd look when you go to pay for it. It’s the locals that keep this place open, even though it was nearly empty at 5:00 on a Friday. Nice fad, time to move on.

I’ve been coming to this location since last year and I can’t complain. Right now I’m 8 months pregnant and the staff are so friendly and make it convenient for me to satisfy my cravings. The food is cheap and delicious. Their raspberry lemonade is out of this world amazing. My favorite thing to get is the half chicken meal with loaded mash and creamed spinach. Sometimes Mac and cheese. Definitely worth the trip

I just wanted to send my sincerest thanks to this Boston Market location. Recently, my boss had lost a parent and my department was at a loss of what to send over to the family. It dawned on us that people often are exhausted and don’t have much time to cook so we decided to send over a meal full of comfort food. When I placed the order, I left instructions asking the delivery person to kindly let the family know that this was being delivered to them on behalf of his team and is sent with our deepest sympathies. Not an hour later, Boston Market called me right back and offered to not only mail me the receipts so the family would not see them, but also offered to send the family dessert on the house. It can’t get much better than that — but it does! The delivery person went to deliver the food, but the family wasn’t home… he WAITED! Also, Boston Market sent a card along and the delivery person offered his sympathies as well. This location truly went above and beyond the expectations that my department would have when it came to delivering a meal. I recommend this location to anyone looking for a good meal and a kind staff. Thank you Boston Market in Medford for this slam dunk! In an email from my boss: «Thanks to all of you for sending our family the Boston Market dinner tonight. And your timing couldn’t have been better — We were just about to order pizza. Again. ;-)»

I have never been to a Boston market in Boston only been to them in Orlando in Denver and they were amazing but this place here was probably the worst food I’ve ever had. If I would’ve known it was this bad I would’ve gone to McDonald’s next door. The corn was really undercooked and had a horrible taste 2/10, the biscuits were rubbery and lacked taste 1/10, the mashed potatoes 4/10, the chicken was actually decent I give the chicken a 8⁄10. The place was clean and the staff friendly.

I don’t see what can be so wrong or bad about Boston Market! This place is a nice fast food kind of joint that provides you with better than your average McDonalds or chipotle. If you’re looking for a real meal, while maintaining the quickness, why not head for Boston Market? Who doesn’t like the Mac and Cheese or Mash potatoes. I would say the price is a bit high to average but it that’s Boston for you. No need to take your food to the trash or tip. The kitchen is nice, and the workers are relatively nice, just not too lively. Im a fan of the rotisserie chicken, so there’s not much that can go wrong with this, unless you make it super dry which Boston market typically doesn’t. I always get the dark meat, so dry chicken isn’t a much of a problem. They always have the special where if you come back on Saturday, buy one entrée get one free deal! I recommend keeping your receipts if you want a freeish meal for Saturday! I don’t see why not you wouldn’t come here occasionally

I heard that the half chicken meal is great here. Yes it is. I cannot remember other food there. They are not so impressive. With Kenny.

The staffs were soooooo nice. Best place for customer service I have ever been to at a fast food restaurant. I had a couple coupons and went in without a clue what to order. All the staffs behind the counter greeted me with smiles and suggested what I should get and told me their promotions. At check out, they even asked me if i need any sauce or even plates or even an apple pie for dessert. I was so impressed with their customer service. The bathroom was very clean, despite a previous review. I had a great experience at this location and well, I know what I am having for lunch today.

The last few times I’ve come I was content with the level of service and quality of the food. However, this was my 3rd visit and I was completely underwhelmed by everything but the corn bread. I ordered the Large portion Turkey Meal With Creamy Spinach and mashed potatoes, a slice of apple pie, and bowl of chicken soup. Turkey/Dry overdone and void of taste Mashed potatoes/Ok Creamy Spinach/Under-temp served at 90degrees Chicken Soup/Warm-Bland Apple Pie/Generic unimpressive. My old«usual» order was a half chicken meal w/mashed, stuffing, Mac, and Steamed Veg… I should’ve stuck with my usual… Lesson learned. If the carpeted floors don’t get shampooed, I’m not going back… The floors are filthy and the restaurant smells because of it.

Look, it is what it is. It’s not the Boston Chicken of my youth, nor is it the same as it was even 5 or 6 years ago, but as far as fast food goes, you could do a lot worse. The chicken is the showpiece of course, and in that department, Boston Market doesn’t disappoint. I’ve always found everything else to be lackluster, and the sides hit and miss(I always stick with mashed potatoes and mac n cheese). If you’re in a rush, need something quick and aren’t too fussy, this will do in a pinch.

I love coming here when I don’t feel like cooking dinner after an exhausting day at work. The food is always fresh and I’ve notice that it has the same consistancy at all Boston Markets all over the globe. Sometimes I don’t think that anyone wants to ever cook because the line is strected out the door. I just love sinking my chops into savory mashed potatoes, spinach and stuffing, all while washing it down with a warm corn muffin. A vegetarian’s paradise.

I strongly like Boston Market, I mean who doesnt love mac & cheese & Mashed Potatoes… But the service in this place sucks… then people have the nerve to give you attitude… Like dude, YOU chose to work in a customer service position… If you dont like people, KEEPITMOVING!!! Shit maybe if you had stayed in school as your mom suggested youwouldnt be slinging mashed potatoes now to greedy chicks like myself who just want some with no damn gravy… They never have pot pies when I come here, my big gripe… and the bathroom is always NASTY when I go in… Ugh. Having to take a child to that bathroom was sad, I left & went and changed my son in the car…

This is the best Boston Market location I’ve ever been to. The staff have mostly been there long term and the place is typically very clean. The staff seem to enjoy being there. That’s almost unheard of in fast food. They engage the customer and are friendly and polite. The manager is great and fosters good work ethic in her employees. The food is Boston market food, it is good when you are craving it, it isn’t fine dining. It is tasty and consistent.

quick review: $ 7.99 for the ½ Chicken meal. I got stuffing w/gravy, vegetables, and light meat rotisserie chicken. Portions were big, but vegetables tasted bland and chicken was a bit dry. It’s a good alternative to the other fast food restaurants or the more expensive places in the area.

It had been almost a decade since I last visited Boston Market and surprisingly it was very good. All the Rotisserie Chicken I had was tender and perfectly seasoned. A– the first side I had was the Loaded Mashed Potatos which contained bacon and melted cheese. B+ I also had the Sweet Potato Casserole, which had brown sugar, marshmallows, and oatmeal. B+ The Cornbread was pretty dry, not as good as I remembered. C The Cinamon Apples was basically the inside of a hostess apple pie heated up. B–

Boston Market. What’s to say? It is the pivotal American comfort food. BM gets it right every time. Four stars because it is still greasy fast food, despite it’s deliciousness.

I should give this a 1 star, but the food was expected and nice. Anyways, i worked for this company a long ass time ago and I feel that their newer changes since then make the place not so great. First off their simplified menu is retarded. Step 1 choose your meat $ 5 or add $ 2 for this and that or this size(huh? what does that even mean). Step 2 add your sides for a $ 1. Wait what? Since when do you have to pay EXTRA for a side unless you are adding on many sides? I mean, for the longest time you chose your meat and the price was based off the type of meat or the cut whatever, and you automatically get 2 sides. If you want a traditional meal it will be about $ 8 but its not worth it. I do have to say if you like dark meat, their 3 piece dark meat chicken is a good bargain. I also HATE how disorganized it is, but it has always been a free for all. You can be standing there waiting to order(Wait standing where? theres no line) and then someone can walk in off the street and they would take their order first? I guess I just don’t understand, it wasn’t busy and it shouldn’t be a problem. The food was good, I just hate how it just sits there all day and no one does anything to make it look presentable again. I mean, serioulsy the motto was«Just add water!» and what a world of wonders that did. The gravy was literally pudding and the creamed spinach, while delicious was dried out and you could scoop it with an ice cream scoop. Anyways, I wouldn’t go back here again unless I had my $ 5 off coupon, which I supposed made it «worth» going to.
