I applied for a car refinance for 10k. People picked up the phone within seconds. Very nice and polite. Nice fast service. Now I have a question on another account. Do the machine and it cant help me. Press 1 if you would like to speak to a real person. 29 minutes later i get hung up on. Dial the loan request number. Someone picks up immediately. Ask a simple interest question. Nope… have to speak to the equity line dept. They transfer me. 32 minutes later, someone picks up and explains to me a call center is down. The recording told me it was the weather (123 times). and they can help… Really? an hour on the phone to answer a 2 second question. Forget the car refinance now… I’ll go elseware. Closing all my accounts with them…

its Friday afternoon, put on at least on more teller… ido appreciate the young woman I dealt with, fast friendly remembered me from previous visits (sorry for not catching her name) and handled about 90 percent of the business while I was there… good for her bad for business

These guys put a 10 day hold on a check I deposited.
Even though it was drawn FROM THEIR BANK!!!

I got this account to deposit checks I get for my part time gig. I wanted free checking, free online banking with an debit/​atm card. I didn’t need checks because I have a primary account. So I opened a small business account back in 2009. To get free checking all I had to do was use my debit card once a month. Easy enough because I use it to buy gas or go to CVS etc. BoA tried changing all of that about 6 months ago. They wanted to charge people for using their debit cards. BACKWARDS!!! The outcry was enormous and BoA back stepped just like Netflix canceling this new fee. This month I got a letter once again changing my account. In order to get free checking I had to spend at least $ 250 a month on debit to waive the $ 16 account fee.
BYE BYE BoA. I’m done with big banks who want to make money off of me while already making money with my money… Credit union and bank shopping to commence with a review soon after.

I waited about an hour before a bank rep can help me, while the other 2 sit in there offices doing who knows what. At least the bank rep that assisted me, did it quickly and got what I needed done within 10 minutes. One other thing I hate about this bank and other bank of america branches is that they close so early (4PM).

I happen to love Bank of America as a general rule. Locations and ATMs everywhere. However, at this location, the teller took my correctly filled out deposit slip and didn’t give me my $ 40 cash back on the check I was depositing. When I said «Oh, did I not get cash back?» she looked at me and goes «oh, you hafta swipe yo cahd again» with attitude as if I’d filled out the deposit slip wrong instead of her not paying attention. Look ho, I could have gone to the ATM and got better service.
