Came in on a random Thursday evening to grab dinner. Sat down to what seemed like a slow night. First round of drinks came, orders were taken… thought we were good. Then we wait. For over an hour we wait. We finally ask the server to find out how long it was going to be and we were instructed 10 more minutes. Management was requested. Food was held up because they got a huge order. Understandable but let your tables know… we shouldn’t just be left hanging. Food arrives. Hot wings were luke warm, nachos were ice cold, burgers were… well only ½ could be eaten. Service was severely inept, management attention was mediocre, food was bad and after all of that the only thing management did was take the nachos off the bill. Needless to say we won’t be going back. Maybe with the health inspector…

Every time we’ve been(6 or 7 times) it has taken a long time to get food. Service next to the is bar better than on the other side. Tonight we waited over 20 minutes just to pay. finally left cash just to get out of there. Food is okay. We are not going back

Haven’t been back to this after they tried to steal money off my debit card years ago. They also stole cash money from a friend. Stay away the bartenders/staff will steal from you. Lucky for me my bank got my money back for me.

Sportspage Bar and Grille is a place I found myself coming to after asking one of my friends who lives in Mechanicsville where we could go for wings — but not bdubs. I have to say I was pleased. This place is tucked in a strip mall near some other local restaurants and a Food Lion. Definitely one of your typical«local» places to go and eat some wings, have a beer, and watch some football. If there’s one thing Sportspage doesn’t lack, it’s televisions. There are tons lined up and down the walls, and there is a miniature TV that you can control at each booth throughout the restaurant. This place also boasts a side room that has pool tables and a few video games for kids. I got a plate of 12 wings and a side of tots. The wings were served with celery and over top of corn chips. I found the chips thing kind of weird, but once the sauce dripped on top of them and I was able to eat a sauce-covered chip, I didn’t think it was that weird anymore. Great idea. I saw a banner hanging in the restaurant that had all of the places specials throughout the week and it seemed like every night there was something going on. If you’re from the area or living around Mechanicsville, this would be a great spot to catch a game during the week or on the weekend.

I am at Sports Page now for lunch. They have about 40 customers and only 2 people covering the floor and bar. It took 45 minutes to get my food. Very disappointed.

There was a red head girl who was at the front… very unfriendly and had the worst attitude. They were disorganized and my family walked out without getting a table… WILLNEVERTRYGOINGHEREAGAIN

Tuesday is Burger Night. Awesome burgers and fries are highly recommended. However, service is: S.L.O.W. I have come to figure out that with a pitcher of beer, the wait is much longer for your meal. Hence the 3 stars.(Service is quicker when we didn’t order alcohol.) Every table has their own TV with TVs all around. It has a family atmosphere. Game room. Outside patio.

Went to Sports Page between soccer games during a tournament weekend. Food was great, and their service was excellent. They handled two large tables, one of parents, one of players, with ease. Highly recommend it!

Cheap beer and good wings. Great place to watch a game in Mechanicsville. Sportspage does bar food, but I have to admit they do it pretty well. Nothing is particularly homemade, but everything we have had here has been executed well. Some things to try: French dip sandwich, steamed shrimp, and burgers. Don’t miss the wings, they are the real star here. They are the perfect crispness, spicy without being too spicy to eat, and served on a bed of tortilla chips that soak up the delicious buffalo sauce and are a treat when the wings have disappeared.

I used to hit this place on the reg back in ’09. Since then I haven’t ventured to this area except to pick up Chens Chinese food. I use to shoot pool at this place quite a bit. But, things change and I grow older. The girlfriend had the chicken wings at the Midlothian location while she was cheating on me. She said they were the best she ever had. The wings not the chump she was with. Said the medium garlic were a 10 and that we had to try them. So tonight in celebration of a new job we went here. We ordered the wings of course. The beer was on a killer $ 2.75/bottle special(very nice) and Thursday is Philly sandwich night for $ 5.50 so I got that. The prices at this place are on point. If you want to make locals in 23111 happy keep the prices low. So the wings. Yeah. Well. They come with a truck load of minced garlic on them. They aren’t dripping wet(which I think is the allure). They are a heart burn factory but I worship the Garlic God so I gladly pay the price. I don’t want to critique the Philly sandwich because I hate picking on a place with great service. Our waitress was cool. She had a great attitude and that goes a long way with me. I also don’t want to speak about the live trivia for personal reasons. Mechville is a small town. A little too small sometimes. *wink*

Thursday trivia is fun but otherwise the food isn’t great. Good drinks though. More drink specials would up the desire to return

Monday .50 wings. Outstanding food and value. They have a restaurant in Midlothian but Mechanicsville wins by a nose. Chili by the cup is tasty.

Went to this place just to grab a Burger. so my expectations weren’t too high… But it delivered just what You would think a sports bar in Mechanicsville would… Lots of locals that seem to come there all the time, like every night lol. There are large TV screens and small screens at each table to watch the game or the news, service was fast and friendly and everyone from the host to the bartender to the waitress had big smiles! Great spot for a burger, beer and the game!

Will never order here again. Placed a to go order from the menu picked up at the mechanicsville location which apparently has the midlothian locations number. When I got there to pick up the order the bar tender was extremely rude about it being rather mouthy not even given me a chance to apologize for my mistake. He treated me like I had committed a crime. I promise to never go back.

The salad would get 4 stars but because the girl behind the bar decided to chat with the guy at the bar instead of greeting us properly I can only give 2 stars today. There is a sign when you enter the restaurant that says«please wait to be seated». So we did while we looked at her looking at us but doing nothing except talk to the bar guy. She eventually yelled from across the room«you can sit anywhere». The same thing happend to the family that came in next. Don’t they know that a hostess would be a good idea here???
