Very disappointed in the level of care at this facility. Just saw a female doctor(Dr. L) that was very in-compassionate and seemed annoyed from the beginning of my visit to the end as I asked for a doctor’s note for my illness. Will not be visiting this facility again. On a positive note the front desk receptionist was very nice.

Doctors here are morons and have no bedside manner whatsoever. Don’t waste your time or money! You will probably have to go to a different doctor later!

Respectable place. Staff is real nice. They prescribe the right medicines. I went to my family doctor and did not get the results I needed for an infection. I came to patient first with and was well in just 2 days after taking what they prescribed.

Well tis the season for allergies, colds, etc. and the waiting room was a testament to the above. The Mechanicsville loc has a new set of doctors… not doctor’s assistants but real doctors. I was impressed with their level of service before. and looking for greater service now. A great place to go for emergencies.

If you’re looking for a prescription that’s about all they’re good for here. If you know that you have strep throat or an ear infection come on in, besides that avoid this place. While the staff is nice I feel like they are not as knowledgeable as they should? Chest Cold? They’ll call 911.

There was a 1 hour wait at 6:50p on a Monday evening. The staff was not friendly and they did not provide a diagnosis(or the tiny slip of paper they usually provide with the diagnosis), only an electronic prescription for antibiotics to a pharmacy that closed 10 mins after discharge at 8:50p(leading to a host of running around and insurance payment issues). The staff also did not ask to fill the prescription on site. No information was provided about the drug interactions we learned about ourselves on Google, nor was there any information regarding when emergency treatment should be sought or when to follow-up if not remedied. IMHO, I’d find another urgent care center in the area, especially if this one appears busy when you first arrive. They seemed to be passing out anti-biotic scripts like candy in hopes of clearing the lobby so they could get home on time.

I know Patient’s First usually is, «you get what you get» but I went on a Sunday and explained my situation and they did a good job getting me in and out. I know there were people there that had to wait quite some time but I was impressed with their ability to triage. Thanks for being efficient.

Patient first is some of the worst, non-compittent places to go that Ive ever seen. ive been there once or twice over the years for emergency minor medical situation. I went there the other day cause my daughters throat was really sore and we were about to go out of town on a saturday so… Fasted way to make sure she didnt need antibiotics was patient first. I swearit seems like the doctors there NEVER know whats wrong with you… Every time Ive been the diagnosis is «cant say for sure what it is but let me prescribe this medicine to you just in case». Really??? The only good thing about patient first is you can go there any day of the week. Thats it.
