We offer fresh local seafood with homemade salads, deviled crabs and our special crab muffins. For your party, come by and crab a shrimp ball, crab ball or an array of fresh seafood dips.

History

Established in 2010.

Capt. Greg Parsley is a fishing charter captain who takes out parties from April — December. He started Capt. Greg’s Seafood on a road side stand and realized that the Mechanicsville area was supporting him. He took a leap of faith and opening Capt. Greg’s Seafood in a retail store in July, 2010.

Capt. Greg had worked in packaging for Reynolds Metals Company (aka ALCOA, Reynolds Packaging Group) for about 15 years when they closed his plant in Richmond. He searched for another job for over a year when he realized, due to the economy, it was nearly impossible to find something comprobable to what he had. He had gotten his captains license for fishing charters so seafood seemed to be a great spinoff of something he loved.
