B & E Automotive Service Center

Having dealt with several other mechanics in the area, I feel like I can really say that this place is in a league of its own. I went here to get an inspection right after I moved — they got me right in and when I mentioned in passing that my dealership had said I needed an immediate (and expensive) repair, he said he’d be happy to pop the hood and check it out — AFTER the inspection and I had paid the bill! He walked all the way out to my car and showed me what the dealership had talked about and explained that they had exaggerated the urgency. When I asked how long/​expensive the repair would be, he said a figure that was a fraction of the dealership’s and said not to rush and just get it done next time I had an oil change.
It is so incredibly rare to leave an auto service center with your expectations far exceeded and spending less money that you planned — that’s what I got here! Watching them interact with other customers, it’s clear that I’m not the only one that feels that way. You can tell their priority is quality — not screwing people over and trying to squeeze out a few extra bucks. I found my new go-​to place!

Steve is the best. He always explains what the problem is and works to get you the best price. He is prompt and extremely professional. Three generations of my family take our cars there. Can’t recommend B & E enough!!!
