They have great food! However, be prepared to wait a while if you are having it delivered so my suggestion is to pick it up yourself. The restaurant itself isn’t very appealing to look at but don’t let it deceive you. They make great pizzas and subs!

This place is disgusting! I went here on my lunch break and I ordered a cheesesteak and after 3 bites, all of which had hard flakes of carbon buildup from the grill, one of which cut my gums, I threw the whole sandwich away and left. I will never go back! I even had to go buy a toothbrush just to get the taste out of my mouth!

I was just reading some of these reviews and most of them are not good. So, I felt the need to come on a write a review to let you know that this shop is under new management and it is MUCHMUCH better! The food is great! It is a pizza shop so don’t go expecting a 5 star ritzy restaurant. The bread is homemade and the pizza ingredients are fresh and so good!

Worst stromboli EVER!!! I literally just tried to eat it, and it was so bad I immediately had to jump on here to warn my fellow Unilocalers! It was fresh take out, a regular stromboli and a chicken one. Starting from the outside, the bread is horrible. It’s thin, soggy, and very greasy. Then the ingredients are easily 70% thick nasty cheese. It looked bad cutting into it but I tried to eat it because I was super hungry! Well even after doing surgery on it to get some of cheese out I decided it was inedible and gave up. Sorry Al’s, I hope your other menu items are better but the stromboli is so bad I had to mention it. And no, I didn’t call and complain because I wouldn’t want anything else anyway, let alone the fact that its too far to make two trips.

Sooooo… heard some good things but a particular Al’s Pizza shop but couldn’t remember if it was this location or the one in Camp Hill. After checking on here and not finding a review, we went for it. Carpe why not? I think I might stereotype the name altogether from this point on though… The place was a filthy mess. There was only one family seated in the one corner of the restaurant by the games. Every table was dirty and we had to ask for them to clean it off. The girl behind the register was very welcoming and nice, inviting us to take our time. We ordered a Big Al’s size pizza(18 in) with crumbled sausage and onions and three sodas. They were completely out of ice, which further surprised me since the place was almost completely empty during 6pm on a Sunday night. There was food all over every surface in the place, runaway sausage and meat on the floor… smeared sauce on the tables and tops of the chairs… thick layers of grime and dust on the walls and window sills. The bathrooms(both men’s and women’s) were disgusting and obviously gets frequently disregarded during cleaning time… if they have one. The pizza came out relatively fast and cooked perfectly. The sausage was very very salty, overly seasoned. Most of the pizza lacked sauce while a few pieces had some spurts of it. The sauce didn’t have any distinction other than tomato-y. I uploaded a pic of the seasoning shakers… which were so thick with muck it was gross. They obviously aren’t cleaned that often. Sticky to the touch too. I wouldn’t come back here, nor would I ever recommend this place.
