History

Established in 2005.

Silver Lake Resort & Campground is family owned and operated. We have plenty of experience in the business, as we are now the third generation to open and operate a campground in the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area. Now in its ninth year, the park is quickly becoming a promising place to stay in the area. Located just one short mile from the lake and sand dunes, we’re close to the action but away from the congestion. If it’s family camping that you’re looking for than look no further. Or, as we like to say, «family camping, that’s us.»

Business Owner

Don Tucker, a former Marketing Professional and Sarah Tucker, a former high school English Teacher decided to plunge into a family venture in the summer of 2005. Over the last 9 years has brought tremendous success to the area and the campground. The two attribute the success to great teamwork with family and communication. Their backgrounds were a tremendous asset as they leaped into entrepreneurship.
