Dr. Lanter does not have respect for her patients; she is constantly late, has a passive aggressive attitude, and really doesn’t seem to genuinely care for her patients. Moreover, she constantly overcharges for extraneous expenses. She appears to only be interested in her rich clientele and it shows.

I have been here twice, and both times I have sat in the wait room for over an hour beyond my scheduled appointment. Not a whole lot the doctor can do, I get that, maybe it was just bad luck?

While I appreciate that Dr. Lanter takes time with each of her patients, I have never waited less than an hour past my appointment time to be seen. Sometimes, even longer. Originally, I attributed this to good client care; but even when I was the first appointment of the day, I was seen an hour late. There are never apologies for the tardiness; I’ve had to take half-days at work just for a check-up first thing in the morning! The nurse that works with Dr. Lanter is very kind and comforting. I believe her name is Kim. She has a great sense of humor, but takes her job seriously. The woman who works at the front desk is fairly incompetent. She has billed me incorrectly at times. For the most part, Dr. Lanter is kind, but I have felt rushed and judged by her at times. I’m thankful to be switching doctors.

A friend recommended Dr. Lanter, and I would hands down recommend her to anyone who’s interested in receiving intelligent healthcare. The staff is courteous in a genuine way and will do their best to get you taken care of efficiently. Dr. Lanter is perhaps one of the most logical and properly attentive doctor I’ve ever seen. She talked out my medical problems with me and gave me a thorough game plan that was appropriate for the situation. Taking a metered approach to treating an illness was refreshing and a change from the standard-prescription-pad-happy doctor. She’s very straight forward, which some might view as aggressive or arrogant. But having a doctor in the family(and therefore friends with lots of doctors), I found Dr. Lanter to be competent and a perfect match for me. Two warnings: Be on time — if you’re late, you get bumped until the patients who were on time are done being seen Bring cash or check to pay for your co-pay and additional tests that the doctor might request on your behalf.
