Sugar Baby Wax

Stephanie did a great job on my Brazilian. She was very friendly and made me comfortable during this experience. I would definitely recommend her.

I discovered sugar baby wax last year and have returned to the the Georgetown location numerous times for my waxing. I made a last minute appointment in the Tyson’s location earlier this week because the gtown location was closed. In general, the aesthetician was very friendly and the wax was the same. However, instead of plucking left over strays at the end, she opted to thread them. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but two days later I’ve noticed my skin become irritated and pores clogging uncharacteristically. I’ve treated skin the same as before, wearing loose clothing and staying away from gym. This is is the first time this has happened to me after any kind of wax. I highly recommend opting out of the threading for plucking instead if you suspect you have sensitive skin. It’s not worth risking the irritation. Also if Georgetown is a doable drive, their rooms are much more comfortable. The weird result and less appealing rooms are the cause for the 3 star ranking. I’ll definitely remain a customer but will be sticking to my usual location.

I was going to the Sugar Baby Wax location in Georgetown and they were good however yesterday I met Kasi!!! She was AMAZING and so knowledgeable. The location is clean and convenient. Kasi was quick and really leaves nothing!!! I would get a little irritation after a Brazilian but Kasi used some products and voila! Problem solved! Smooth as a baby’s bottom. She has gained a customer for life! If you are in need of a wax, run do not walk to Sugar Baby Wax in Tysons! Kasi is fantastic!

Sugar Baby Wax is the ONLY place I go to for brazilians now — the pain is truly not as bad compared to the run-​of-​the-​mill wax job!!! Kasi has serviced me the last three times I’ve been to the Tysons location and she is amazing. She always does a great job and is very thorough. I recommend Sugar Baby Wax 100%

I don’t think my experience with Stephanie at Sugar Baby wax could have been more perfect. My first time I tried to get a Sugar Baby service, a woman from the salon they rent space from took over, and I nearly paid $ 20 for a lip wax that was hardly satisfactory.
First of all, I have never spent more than $ 10 for a lip wax so I was a tad upset. I quickly realized this was not the wonderful Sugar Baby I read rave reviews about on Unilocal and demanded a discount. She clearly did not know what she was doing.
ANYWAY a couple weeks later I went back and specifically asked for an appointment with someone from SBW. The next day I got a bikini wax with Stephanie and it was the fastest and least painful wax I have ever had.
I am very particular about where I get waxed and SBW has quickly replaced the salon I have been frequenting for years. The price is reasonable, the staff is experienced and friendly, and best of all it doesn’t hurt! Magic.
TL;DR
Make sure you specify you want an appointment with sugar baby wax and not the salon they rent space from. You will not be disappointed.

Kasi is the best she has been waxing me a while now I just love her sprint and attention to detail will never go to anyone else!!!

I schedule an appointment with Stephanie. The waxing job wasn’t up to par. I’m still left with hair in several different areas. For $ 65, I could have headed over to Red door spa for better services with «Hot Wax» and no paper stripping.
She also charged $ 25 for under arm waxing when the nail shop next door offers a lower price and a better job. Overpriced charges with old fashion waxing techniques.

Definitely recommend. I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for about 5 years and Kasi is my favorite in the DMV area. It’s not painless (because I mean cmon, your hair is getting ripped off), but it’s tolerable Kasi is very quick!

To be honest, I am a newbie to waxing. I saw Kasi a few weeks ago and she was amazing. I did my research before going and saw that Sugar Baby uses a certain technique that helps with the pain. Well, I didn’t feel any pain — and I was nervous and I have sensitive skin. Still, nothing. I had a great experience and will be back. Newbies, listen, this is the place to go!

I am in love Sugar Baby Wax! I’ve been to all 3 locations – each is excellent, but Tysons is the closest to me. They don’t use hard wax or sugaring. Instead, they’ve created a hydrating «candy» wax and it’s amazing!
Kasi has been my esthetician for awhile now and I couldn’t be happier that she’s heading the Tysons location! I recommend Sugar Baby to all of my friends and it is the ONLY place I get Brazilians. Of course it is painful, but you’re in and out in 15 minutes!!!

Before sugar baby wax I had never been waxed [down there] before. I originally started going to the Old Towne location but once I met Kasi I traveled to Tysons! She is quick, pays attention to detail, and is super efficient. AKA she leaves NOTHING! I will never, ever take a razor down there again. I love Kasi! Aside of an amazing esthetician, the products they use are the highest quality. I leave there hydrated and not irritated. Believe me you do not want to be left irritated and bothered [down there]. All in all I can honestly say I will only patronage sugar baby wax for my [down there] waxing needs now and forever.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a wax! I had the good fortune of discovering Sugar Baby Wax on a whim in August and have been coming every month since to get my Brazilian! I’ve had Kasi the past 2 times I’ve gone and every time I come out very happy with not only the results, but also the experience. Kasi is beyond amazing and makes everything easy. I’m glad that I chose this place to get my first ever Brazilian Wax! I was originally scheduled to have an appointment with Kasi at 12PM. But I arrived at 11:45 and she was leaving the store to go run errands and she insisted that I let Stephaine wax me. For the inconsistency they took $ 5 off.
Stephaine was very lovely, personable, and a great waxer. She made me feel very comfortable and the wax honestly didn’t even hurt that bad.
I will definitely be going back and recommending everyone looking for a great Brazilian wax to come here.

The Tysons Corner location is open later and that almost gets the four stars alone. If you are working woman and busy, then this is the location for you. Of course, finding a great «Brazillian wax keeper» is not the easiest, but both Valerie and now Kaci have been helpful. Valerie is outstanding, but she has left the Alexandria location. I visited the Tyson’s location as one of the first customers a few months ago and loved Kasi and the location. Put her on your Sugar Baby Wax list. I will be back soon.

I used to go to the Sugar Baby Wax in Alexandria. When I found out Kasi moved to the Tyson Corner location, so did I… Kasi is my fave and awesome at what she does! I get Brazilian waxes every time. She makes the process quick and painless as possible. She also provide tips on how to deal with ingrown hairs and exfoliating.

This was my first time coming here for a Brazilian. Definitely the most comfortable wax I’ve had. I can see why there are so many great reviews. Stephanie did a great job and I will definitely be back.

I Followed Kasi here from the Alexandria location. Although she waxes fairly quick (which I love by the way) she is extremely thorough, professional, and friendly! Not sure you can get a better combination than that. Happy Waxing!
