Business Owner
Monika Guttman (President) is an award-winning freelance writer and a successful communications consultant based in the Washington DC area. She has spent the past decade helping several start-up organizations and non-profits launch their brand and solidify their market niche. Monika also spent more than two decades researching, interviewing and writing a wide variety of news and business articles for daily, weekly and monthly publications. She has special expertise in health, the environment, education, politics, and crisis management. She has written for a variety of publications including US News & World Report, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, People Magazine, and Investors Business Daily, and worked in the media relations department at the University of Southern California. She received a National Press Club award for consumer journalism in 1993. A Los Angeles native, Monika attended Stanford University and was a fellow at the Casey School of Journalism at the University of Maryland.
