Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip

I received thee worst customer service I have ever been a victim of at the Nestle Toll House Café Tysons Corner 1 on July 11^th 2015 from a man named Martin; who claimed to be the manager.
At about 9pm I walked up to the counter expecting to buy my usual purchase of 3 chocolate chip cookies. I was greeted by a younger looking boy who informed me that the only cookies they had left were chocolate chip walnut cookies. At that time a older man grunted «We are closed!» At that time I turned my attention back to the younger boy and asked if there were any more cookies in the back, that’s when the older man walked over and grabbed the tray of chocolate chip walnut cookies and threw them in the trash;yelling «We are closed I said!» I asked the man why did he throw them away I was going to buy one since those were the only ones left, he shrugged my comment off and walked away. My girlfriend was pretty disgusted by his actions so she asked for the managers card and all she got was a rude «I am the manager what are you going to do and we have no cards» As we turned to walk away another female employee said something that was inaudible from where we where standing but I happened to look back at the perfect time catching this Martin «I am the manager» guy flicking us off.
I will never buy another nestle product again all the times I’ve ever gone there I’ve been greeted with a warm welcoming smile by the same younger looking boy. Martin totally and completely ruined it for me forever and to have him as management?!? Good luck, as I’m sure I’m not the first nor the last customer you’ll lose do to your piss poor choice of employees/​manager!!!

Love this place! I first visited the Nestle Toll House Café a year back when I went to the Mall of America and fell in love ever since! When I searched the closest location to me the one in Tysons Corner popped up and I decided it was well worth the hour drive! The staff was attentive and their was a wide selection of cookies, cupcakes and brownies. The chocolate chip cookie I got here wasn’t warm like it was at the location in the Mall of America but I didn’t think much of it. Overall a very good experience and worth the drive one in awhile.

I got the regular size berry peach smoothie and it was absolutely disgusting. It was tasteless and over blended. I would have regretted paying even a dollar for it. There was only one person working just a little before noon. People were waiting to be served and he was busy with other things in the back. I’ve heard the cookies where good but stay away from the smoothies.

Cookies are served warm & are delicious! I got Chocolate Chip & Mint Double Chocolate Chip Cookies. They also have mini cookies, brownies, rice crispies, ice cream, cookie cake slices, frozen yogurt, coffee beverages, etc.
Friendly & fast customer service. Regular cookies are $ 2 each, they also have combos. Pretty good selection of cookies & brownies, will definitely stop by soon!

The display says warm. One of the sales people kept asking my what I wanted until I ordered. I ordered two chocolate cookies and a chocolate milk. The price was quite a shock at over $ 7. I’m sorry to say that the cookie were cold and the milk was warm. When I tried to get the same woman to warm the cookies I couldn’t get her attention. Not impressed with either the product or the service. They do get one star because they served fast. I have no urge to return, there to many other choices to bother with high priced low quality food and service.

I’m surprised to discover that I’m the first to review this place! We went to Tysons today and in my wanderings, I wanted to see what, if anything replaced CakeLove. I rarely go to that part of the mall so when I do, I’m often surprised to find new food stands. Nestle’s didn’t replace CakeLove (nothing has as of this writing) but was across the corridor.
I took a look at their offerings and noticed that they are much more than baked goods. They also offer up ice cream and (according to their website) frozen yogurt. Also, they have smoothies and hot drinks.
You can customize an ice cream cookie sandwich for yourself, which I thought was a unique idea. Also, according to their website, if you want a large customized cookie that says, for example, happy birthday, you can order it right then and there and it will be ready within 25 minutes.
I zeroed in on the baked goods and noticed that they had my husband’s favorite cookie, oatmeal raisin so I got one for him. They also had cupcakes but just 1 flavor, all vanilla. The clerk that helped me was very friendly and helpful. I ordered 1 oatmeal raisin cookie and 1 cupcake. He asked if he could put them in one container and I said, «yes». So, he put both in a small plastic container, putting the cupcake on top of the cookie. Another clerk rang up my sale and asked if I wanted a bag, which I did. All totaled my order cost $ 5.81.
We took them home and had them for dessert. My husband raved about the oatmeal cookie, saying that it was one of the best he ever had. He said it was moist and very flavorful and would gladly have it again. As for the cupcake, it was okay — nothing memorable. The cake was moist but the frosting was too sweet which overpowered any vanilla flavoring that might have been there. Certainly not the worst cupcake I ever had but far from the best. That said, I was pleased to find that it was fresh.
I’m giving them 4 stars, although when factoring in the cupcake, it’s probably more like 3 ½.
