Located on the lower level of Tysons 1, Mixing Bowl serves healthy, home-style Korean food. Come on by for a quick, healthy, made-to-go, customized meal!
At Mixing Bowl, you can custom create a meal that entices your taste buds! First choose between bibimbap bowl, tacos, ssam (lettuce wrap), or burrito. Next, choose from a variety of protein including beef, spicy pork, and tofu. Then choose from 16 different vegetables. Finally, top off your creation with one of our delicious sauces: spicy red pepper paste, soy sesame ginger, cilantro lime, or our signature sour cream. Combinations are endless with all the toppings we offer!
We are committed to the use of fine, all-natural ingredients. Our meats are free of antibiotics and our vegetables are bought daily from local markets. Mixing Bowl is not a fast food experience — it’s like eating your mother’s cooking, prepared with love and care. We hope to see you soon!
History
Established in 2012.
Mixing Bowl was opened August 2012 by Korean American, Mama Phan. What a journey it has been! With so many positive feedback and encouragement from our customers we have been working diligently toward making it even better.
Meet the Business Owner
Tima P.
Business Owner
Tima has 22 years of food experience, starting with a franchise called Everything Yogurt Salad Café. Tima then went on to open Fresh&Fruity, a smoothie concept, in 1999. With her experience she decided to do something different and exciting, something from her family background, Korean. With the success of Mixing Bowl in Tysons, Tima plans to open more Mixing Bowls in the near future. She lives in VA with her husband and two wonderful children. She is also involved with many local charities and works toward doing more.
