History
Established in 2004.
In 2002, developer David Craig wanted to create a «new urbanism» area in North Dallas where one could literally not even leave the confines of the development and have everything they need. David Craig’s vision started with a golf course. So on April 2nd, 2002, Tom Weiskopf, legendary PGA TOUR golfer and winner of the 1973 British Open, & PGA TOUR golfer D.A. Weibring broke ground on TPC Craig Ranch. Roughly 2 & half years later, in September 2004, TPC Craig Ranch opened for business. TPC Craig Ranch has hosted some notable events including the 2008 Nationwide Tour Championship as well as the 2012 Web.com Tour Championship. Moreover, TPC Craig Ranch recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in September 2014.
