This library is so beautiful! What a fun place for kids to visit and roam through so many books. It is a great size that is close to the square-for afterwards walking around and getting a treat. During the summer they have a list of activities and events for kids constantly going on. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Also, you can check out and return books from the other Mckinney library-John and Judy Gay library; which makes it convenient. Great library, great location, great experience!

Great children’s section and located close to a lot of good restaurants. We like to get new books then walk the square.

I really appreciate the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library. It’s right next to McKinney Square, which is fun. All the public parking lots for the Square that are scattered around the library make for easy parking. It’s a beautiful space with fountains, multiple floors, lots of windows and light. They have a good children’s library section with computer games, a play room, and regular story and music time. A good public library is an essential public service for a good city, and this adds a lot to McKinney! And… as a mom of a little one, I SO appreciate it.

Not as nice looking as Gay, but IMO a better selection. Also, really nice staff, good parking and convenient location.
