This place is awesome ! Was greeted right away and free seating. Food comes out really fast and usually when that happens the quality is very dissatisfying but NO ! Spring rolls were really fresh and best of all, they don’t stuff your spring roll with all veggies, this is one of the first places I have been to that actually has a decent amount of vermicelli ! Everything is on point.

Shrimp spring rolls were fresh, vermicelli bowl with beef and egg roll was FANTASTIC, and service was prompt if a bit quiet. Couldn’t have been a nicer lunch break!

Update: service here ranges from awesome to horrible. I think I got the owner last night and tried explaining to her the Diet Coke needed to be replaced; she told me it was fine. The other diners complained and she told them to drink it without ice. Very weird. The shrimp tempura was not good last night. Phở was still decent though! I’m not going to say I’m some kind of phở expert here, but I can tell good from bad and what you get here is decent. It is neither the best nor the worst phở around; I came in today because it’s convenient to home and the portions are huge for a great price. Small is a good sized amount for 7.50 on most bowls, 8.50 for large. I always get the big one because I like leftovers. A good phở is all about(in my opinion) how much doctoring I have to do to the broth. Here the broth is just ok, but it needs some help getting flavor, which is easy with the siracha and hoisin on the table. As other reviews state, there’s A LOT of noodles in there, and you’d do best by asking for a few less. Don’t get me wrong, they are good, but they take up more room and you don’t get enough broth to meat ratio. They do give a good amount of meat, but again, those noodles are the star here, simply because it’s all you can get at. My only real gripe here is that the broth is super oily. I get that some is to be expected, but man, the oil is really heavy here. The service was awesome, and my waitress even helped me box up my leftovers. I’ll be back when I need a hit:)

Firstly this restaurant is very clean, bathroom is surprisingly very clean. Easily located on the shopping center. I ordered the phở, combination small bowl, is very large, I couldn’t finish it. Very fresh ingredients. Highly recommended, kim, is an excellent waitress, very attentive.

I love Phở, but even though I pass this place daily to go to and from work, I drive to Allen to have Phở. Broth tastes like it comes from a concentrate, and wait staff are nice but lacking. I was soooo excited when they opened, thinking there was a phở place nearby. But I’m thoroughly disappointed.

When I walked in today around 2 pm there were 2 servers and what looked to be the manager behind the register chowing down smacking on egg rolls… There were about 6 customers in the restaurant. I walk in to place my Togo order and she walks up to the register still smacking, and continues to eat while she takes my order… They all do. It was just gross. Hence this girl has a un Pleasant look on her face the entire time as well. As I sit down my food came out fast and she sets in on the counter and says«it’s ready». Okay food, mediocre phở… but never going back until they get a more customer friendly staff.

Best Phở in the area for sure! The broth is always rich and savory and unlike many other places i have tried it is not oily at all. The noodles themselves are tasty and tender and if you are used to having to fish around your bowl to find the meat, you will be surprised by the generous amount of protein packed in their bowls! They seriously dont hold back on the meat. My favorite is the Special Combination Phở(N1) The broth is aromatic, earthy, and as the rest of the soups, it is served with a side of fresh garnishes which include basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeño, and lime. Here’s a tip! Resist the urge to drown the flavor with sriracha or soy, and hold the garnishes until you taste the broth itself! Cant stress how much it is seriously worth savoring. Another favorite of mine are the Eggrolls. They are well rolled/packed and delicious. Their Fountain drinks machine was broken today but that didnt bother me, as i always order the Thai Tea. Hands down the BEST Thai Tea i’ve had in the area! If you like Bobba, you can also ask for some in your tea. I love bubble tea but i personally dont like they Bobba at all! This is one of the few thing i dislike here. Such a shame. The tapioca balls are tasteless, too hard and annoyingly chewy… almost like if they are old and stale. I would rate this place 5⁄5 if it wasnt for the service… It leaves a loooot to be desired. Walking into the place is awkward because no one is there to greet you and let you know you can seat yourself. The servers are not too friendly. I dont even know their names of my servers because they never introduce themselves, they just take your order and walk away or place your plate in front of you and walk away. There are no pleasantries or chitchat at all. If it wasnt for the quality of the food i would probably not like this place too much just based on their service, which is not absolutely terrible but it certainly isn’t inviting at all… On the bright side, the food is prepared really fast and brought to your table promptly. If great service is your priority you might find this place lacking but if you are looking for great phở, i would seriously recommend you give this place a try!

Absolutely awful. We gave this place 3 chances because we wanted phở in McKinney. The service is terrible, obviously run by teenagers, and the quality of the food has tanked from several months back.

My parents recently moved to McKinney and have been talking about this great Vietnamese restaurant near them. My dad ordered take out for all of us — Vegetarian Phở with fried Tofu and shrimp summer rolls. I can not personally comment on the service, but my parents have also said it was great. When he got home with the food it was warm and looked amazing. The summer rolls, were perfectly rolled and fresh with a great basic peanut sauce. I love Phở, but I have never had vegetarian before. I loved it! It had a great mix of vegetables — baby bok choy, cabbage and carrots. The noodles, vegetables, and fried tofu all came on the side, with the broth separate and all the right condiments — cilantro, Thai basil, bean sprouts, hoisin, sirarcha, jalapenos. In most cases I feel like phở is too much broth. In the case it was almost the other problem, not enough broth to cover all the insides. I have never tried fried tofu and now I am a fan, it was perfect in this. I only finished half my portion of phở as it was so filling. I not only will be back here again but actually will likely order vegetarian again, I am a convert.

I love this place. I was taken here by a friend and I have been back. I go so much they know my order before I say it. Best chicken pan Thai ever!

Just because the food is good, it does not mean you can treat customers like crap. I understand that you may not like to wait, but being impatient can cause someone to leave. The person taking my order seemed uninterested, like she didn’t know the menu, and overall rude. She didn’t ask me if I wanted any sauces nor interacted. Half of your business is based on service. Learn that.

Found hair in my spring roll. Totally grossed out. I dined there and ordered their meatball phở and spring rolls. Ate one spring roll and packed the other to go for later. The phở broth was oily compared to others. Their prices are higher than others as well.

Their sandwiches are amazing and the food is always great! My fave is the Thai tea and then for dessert my husband and I always finish with a coconut bubble tea. We come to Phở Bistro at least every other week.

Mediocre meatball phở. The waitress use her finger to put the hanging noodle into my friend’s phở bowl before she serve it. It was uncomfortable to finish mine and question how they prepare the food.

Why is this restaurant rated on average 3.5 stars? I think this place is great! Phở is hot and fresh with a great taste, meat is good quality, friend items are crisp and delicious. I think this place might have replaced it’s chef recently — I’ve noticed a huge improvement anyway. Best Vietnamese in the area!

Tried the«special phở», it was just okay. Service was quite lacking. The waitresses stood around talking to each other’s while our water glasses sat empty.

First time here. Got phở of course, and it was excellent. This is near my work, and I came over lunch. Service was very fast, which leaves more time to eat. I will certainly be back again. I will try some egg rolls next time as they looked good.

BYOB — just in case you didn’t know. We’ve been coming here for a while now and just found this out on our last visit. Apparently, they also run Shogun restaurant(Japanese) which is an upper scale hibachi grill on the other side of 75. Their drinks are fantastic! The husband likes the bubble tea and I prefer the iced coffee with condensed milk. It is brewed using a Phin Filter(look it up, it’s neat) over a glass of sweetened condensed milk. It is soooo good! The strength is weaker than espresso but stronger than traditional brewed coffee. Try it, you won’t be sorry! S1 is the best! Flat noodles with shrimp, beef, and chicken mixed in with all the usual suspects found in Vietnamese noodle dishes along with a nice little pile of crushed peanuts on the corner edge of the plate. To die for! The hubs always gets phở soup with eye of round & flank steak… I can’t remember what the number is although I know it starts with an «N.» The broth is always hot and yummy. Of course, he typically adds hoisin sauce and Sriracha. They also bring a lovely plate of «sides» for your phở which includes: bean sprouts, limes, fresh jalapeño slices, and cilantro sprigs. Such a beautiful sight when all put together and an even better taste! Although I am not a soup person(unless it’s REALLY cold or I’m sick. then, bring it on!), I do enjoy a nice bowl of phở every now and again. You will quickly learn that EVERYONE has a particular way of preparing and eating their phở. What’s yours?
