Meet the Business Owner

Andrew and Kate J.

Business Owner

Before Fair & Square Imports, Andrew worked at a nonprofit where he helped launch another Fair Trade store. Kate worked at a local marketing agency, spending the majority of her time working with nonprofit clients. Andrew & Kate are especially passionate about Fair Trade because it decreases individuals’ dependency on aid in a dignified and long-​lasting way. Opening a Fair Trade store was a natural expression of that passion. Fair Trade workshops around the world end cycles of poverty not only for families, but often whole communities. It gives developing regions a respectful alternative that often preserves cultural crafts and traditions.

Andrew & Kate hope to grow the Fair Trade movement as a unique way to make your everyday purchases powerful.
