Discovery Zone Childcare offers a safe, nurturing environment where your child will get the attention and care that he or she needs. Our ratio of children to adults is always within state guidelines — and often even lower — to make certain each child receives top-​quality care.

You can rest assured that your child will be cared for with the utmost kindness, love and respect. We believe all children are precious gifts and we treat them as though they are our own.

Discovery Zone has been around since 1989 but was a chain of entertainment facilities featuring games and elaborate indoor mazes designed for young children, including slides, climbing play structures and ball pits. The chain was founded by Ronald Matsch, Jim Jorgensen and Dr. David Schoenstadt in 1989. The first location was opened in Lenexa, Kansas, in January 1990. An early investor and vocal supporter of the company was tennis player Billie Jean King. Unfortunately, that part of the industry went out of business. The entertainment facilities stayed in operation until the early 2000’s. We didn’t want to disappoint the kids and parents by not being around at all anymore so we chose to carry the name and create childcare facilities for working parents. By 2007, we had twelve locations opened and registered through the state. Today, we have seventeen. We love our children and dedicate time and patience with each and every one of them.

Natasha has been apart of the Discovery Zone Franchise since 2001. Being that she has two sets of twins and can understand the challenges of trying to find a great childcare center has always been the most pertinent part of their growing up. Since being in the Discovery Zone family, she has became a motivational figure to other parties that showed interest in starting a center. She is now the owner of 67 centers Nationwide with 24 Franchisees.
