Caring Transitions

This group is horrible !! Rude, overpriced, unorganized, mismanaged, did I say RUDE! Do yourself a favor skip any sales by this group. They are horrible people & they yelled at a customer when I was there. I would not want them handling an estate slow for one of my loved ones that is for sure.
Poor customer service! If there was a way to rate them lower than a 1 I would.

Caring, Professional, Compassion, honest is the 4 words I would describe the experience I had with Caring Transitions. My best friends mom passed away and I found Caring Transitions to put on the estate sale. Donna and Jeff came to meet my best friend and I to go over what they do and don’t do in an estate sale. Then they walked the house to look at what was to be sold. This estate sale was very unique in the fact that my best friends mom was a jeweler and an artist. Thus there was a lot of raw material, equipment and retail packaging that had to be sold. Also there was a lot of fabric for making clothes that had to be sold as well. On top of that the house has been there for around 40 years with 40 years of stuff that had to be sold. Donna and Jeff did not bat an eye at all of the unique items that had told be sold. They told is they have people who will buy it and a large following they can reach out to. They said it will all be sold and it was.
The next step in the process was to go through the house completely, inventory, stage and price everything. This took about a week. The site manager Charlene was nice and professional. Her and her team went though the house to catalog, price and stage everything. When they found personal items like paperwork they set aside for us to take from the home. I checked in everyday unannounced to check on the progress and talk with the staff. Everyone had a specialty and was very professional.
When the sale started they had a line 50 deep each day waiting to go in. Charline and staff had staged the home in a very respectful and professional way. They had cash registers and ipad POS systems in place. Professional signage pointing buyers to different areas of the home and to state policies and terms of the sale. The raw jewelry material was set up in a separate room where it was displayed professionally. The jewelry room which they called it had it’s own staff member who knew about the jewelry that was being sold and that could answer buyers questions. During the sale I once again checked in unannounced and stayed for about an hour to walk through the home, observe and talk with the staff members. Everyone was very busy and professional.
The last day of the estate sale I spent the last 3 hours there just watching. Charlene the site manager had a plan for everything. During the last hour of the sale they started a bag sale which was $ 20 for everything you can fit in a food store bag. When the sale was over and the last person was checked out she had a plan for everything. She had a plan for the left over raw jewelry material and the other crafting supplies. She brought in a liquidator who went through the house and picked what he wanted. After that she had called in a charity to pick up the rest. The sale was over around 3pm on Saturday and the house was 100% cleared by 8pm that evening.
If you are in need of an estate sale company I would recommended Caring Transitions. This is not your average estate sale/​garage sale people with board housewives with a cash box. They are professional, caring, kind, honest and great to work with.

Do it yourself. So many estate sale places in Dallas that are so much more helpful. These people are rude to say the least. Caring Transitions — oxy moron. Just don’t do it. Find someone else if you possibly can. They little to no following for antiques and absolutely no knowledge. Make you do your research before your hire them. Garage sale people.

I love checking out Caring Transitions sales! They are tons of fun to search through. They drop prices each day as the sale goes on so you can get some amazing deals on unique items. They have literally EVERYTHING and are very helpful if you ask.
I had the best experience ever at a recent sale. I LOVE neat foreign collectibles, so after coming home from Germany, I was on the hunt for anything to remind me of my trip.
I left the sale with a vintage incense smoker (and German incense) that would have cost me at LEAST $ 40 in Germany for only $ 5! It was such a great find that I have kept returning to their sales. It’s especially great since I just moved into a new apartment and need lots of home goods!

After visiting many estate sales I have found Caring Transitions to be the most fair and professional company. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been looking for a certain item and they offered to call me if and when they came across it. They called me to check and see if I located the item. Wow… What service!!!

Went to an estate sale ran by this company. Checkout was mismanaged to say the least. The lady that attempted to check us out was confused and downright rude. Most of the other staff did seem pleasant. Would never go to a sale by this company again.
They accept credit cards but not for under $ 20. It’s not posted very plainly.
